Another day, another life lesson courtesy of the world of sports.
It was just yesterday that USC head coach Pete Carroll and a pair of Trojans starters were illustrating how dangerous it is to accept rides from strangers.
Now we get Ron Artest explaining to roughly 50 children how to play nice with the other kids.
A side note: Artest was speaking at a panel on black empowerment at the Judge Mathis Community Center in Detroit as part of his community service sentence stemming from the Malice at the Palace. While it seems unlikely that his remarks would draw the NBA's ire, it would be somewhat amusing if Artest had to do community service as a result of how he handled his community service, setting in motion a never-ending cycle of serving the community.
