About Me:
I've been a Cardinal Fan since 1964 and Bob Gibson was my favorite player growing up!
I Love to watch Cardinal games and NASCAR races with plenty of Golden Delicious, Jack Daniels, and good friends all around!
Worked at Busch Stadium for Sports Service from 82 - 85!
I HATE THE OFF SEASON!

How many people out there are still experiencing posting diificulty on your home page! I went three days without a post sticking. I am so frustrated, I can't stand it! I've been posting faithfully for 3 years and running and I have never considered leaving FOX. I have a network of Friends, Groups, Fantasy teams, etc. Are any of you experiencing no problems posting on your main team pages. I have no problems anywhere else! Is there a trick to it! If every one of your posts post, please leave a comment on exactly how your method works. Have any of you had to change settings. I would appreciate all the information I can get. I've informed FOX through Contact Us, and all I get are useless form letters! Please leave comments if you've had good luck or bad! I will tell everyone everywhere from your advice! Thank You and success to your favorite team!
If you live in the St. Louis area, you are probably a St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan, a St Louis Blues fan, a Mizzou or Illini fan, and a St. Louis Rams fan. But what if you are old enough to have been a St. Louis Cardinal "Big Red" fan. What if you watched them and loved them like we do our beloved Cardinal baseball team.
I grew up in the 60's and 70's. My Dad and I watched every Big Red game faithfully. Let me point out the obvious. The Big Red flirted with greatness. It's pretty much safe to say they mostly sucked big time.
Let me name drop for awhile. My all time favorite Big Red player was the great HOF safety Larry Wilson. There wasn't a play on the defensive side of the team that you didn't see #8 somewhere on every play. Charlie Johnson, John David Crow, Jim Bakken, Larry Stallings, Jim Hart, Dan Dierdorf, Bob Young, Conrad Dobler, Tom Banks, Roger Whirley, Roy Green, Pat Tilly, Terry Metcalf, Jim Otis, Otis Anderson, Neil Lomax, the list could go on and on.
The Cardiac Cards invented ways to lose close football games, especially against the Dallas Cowboys. Every year, they usually finished 4-9-1. They made losing by a field goal an art form. They managed to waste their #1 draft pick year after year. The worst football game had to have been the Thanksgiving Day Massacre when they were killed by Miami where the score was something like 54 - 7 or something close to that. The high point was that season they had something close to 14 straight quarters where they shut out their opponents, including beating Dallas 33 - 0 on Monday Night Football. They did manage to make the playoffs one year due to a strike shortened season. Yeah, they were heart breakers but they were our heartbreakers.
It wasn't a great shock when Bill Bidwell moved the team to Arizona. He fought with St. Louis to build a football stadium with lots of skyboxes at a time when fans were so disgruntled with the team and Bidwell, they couldn't even sell out old Busch Stadium. Some people were happy to see them go while others were heartbroken. For many years, I was a man without a football team. I tried to like the Chiefs, Bears, Packers, 49ers, Broncos, Bucs, Dolphins, Oilers, and Raiders but it just didn't work. One thing was for sure. I hated the Phoenix Cardinals!
Finally, St. Louis landed the Rams! It was weird, but it didn't take long to make them our own. But, I will never forget the quality (?) time I spent with my Dad watching the "Big Red"!
We won the 2000 Superbowl and that was an experience I will never forget. Kurt Warner was incredible and he was my favorite player. I wasn't very happy to see the Ram's discard Warner like they did. I followed his career very closely.
Though I am a devoted Ram's fan (which was difficult this season) I have remained a Warner fan. I am thrilled that the Arizona Cardinals upset the Eagles and Warner gets another shot at another ring. When Warner moves on or retires, I will again turn my back on the Arizona Cardinals. But I'll be rooting for them on Superbowl Sunday! Being a St. Louis Cardinal baseball fanatic, "Go Cardinals" rolls off the tongue pretty easy! Go Kurt Warner! Go Cardinals!
For some odd reason FOX has decided or at least it's computer has, to
reconfirm everyones home e-mail addresses. If you are trying to log on
but can't, here is what you do. 1. When you click on add a comment,
and a box comes up saying something about verifying your home e-mail,
don't click the yellow YES or NO. Click edit. 2. Go thru and retype everything. Make sure your e-mail address is the same one you registered with. 3. Don't forget to click on the Terms and Agreements! 4. Click Send or Submit. 5. Now you're probably looking at Fox page not found or something! Click on to your actual home e-mail address. 6.
There should be one or many e-mails from FOX. Open it, and there will
be a URL link. It asks you to copy and paste the URL into your web
browser. You're back! 7. If you don't know how to copy and paste: Go
to the end of the URL sentence. Left click your Mouse and move slowly
to the left until it is all covered in blue! When you have it, right
click your mouse and left click copy. You've saved it. (I have done the
same to kev williams#7 last post. 8. Go to the top of the internet
page where the thin line is that says http://... and right click yor
mouse with your cursor in the the thin box. Right click on your mouse.
Left click the word paste and the URL should go into the web
browser(http://) click enter on your keyboard and you are miraculously
posting again! If you have any trouble or don't understand or anything
else, click on my avatar of Pujols swinging the bat multiexposed
picture and leave me a message in my inbox. I'll try to get back to you
as soon as I can!
