Well that's it folks ..........we've got a winner at the WSOP competiton held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas. It was won by none other than Jamie Gold a 36 year old former Hollywood talent agent. Jamie Gold you may ask......the name doesn't exactly strike fear into you once you hear it. But strike he did winning the purse of almost $ 12,000,000 dollars to ease his pain and then some. Gold won by solidly keeping to what he knows best and that is how to bluff your opponent, which is exactly what he did to Paul Wasicki the runner up by beating his opponent with a final hand of a pair of queens to Wasicki's pair of 10's.
Although the tournament did not have any of the big stars remaining at the final table it was still the spectacle that everyone including the most ardent devotee expected it to be. Each of the competitors remaining have good reason to be proud of their endeavors as they each took home a sizeable win amongst themsleves.

2. Paul Wasicka $6,102,499
3. Michael Binger $ 4,123,310
