Does   anyone  remember  the   Wayans  brothers'  comedy  vehicle   White  Chicks ?  It  had  the  brothers   who  were  FBI  agents  going   undercover  posing   as  celebutantes  a la  Paris   Hilton  to  secure  and protect  a  pair  of   socialite  sisters  who  it  happens  are  also  hotel  heiresses.  Ring  any  bells  ?    The  brothers  go  undercover posing   as  the  heiresses  to   protect   them   from  a  kidnapping  plot.   Funny   as  hell  maybe  but  it  has  all  the  double  entendres and  robust  energy     you'd  come  to  expect  from  Shawn and Marlon  Wayans'  comedy  and   directed  by  their  older brother   Keenan .    In  an effort   to  poke  fun  at  these   stereotypes  as  portrayed     by  the    boys  in  the  film  I've  tried   to  come up  with a  scenario     whereby  we  take   some  the most  popular  of  today's  celebutantes  and  try  and  match  them  up  with   a sporting   celebrity.   They'll  be  posted  below  for  your  edification.

Celebutantes          Paris  Hilton,  Tara  Reid, Kimberly  Stewart, Nicole  Richie  and  Lindsay  Lohan. Other   than  being  known  as  run  of  the  mill  party  hounds  and  the  paparazzi's  favorite   foil   the  girls  can   best  be  said  of  as  waiting  in  the    wings  for  the  right  man   or  'sucker '  my  words ,  to come  along  and  sweep  them  of  their  feet   and  become  a  larger    part  of  the  glitz  and  glamor. They've   created  their  own glitz and  glamor   but   it  pales  into  comparison  to  that of  a  sports   superstar.  And  yes,  I  do  know  that   Paris   is  once  again  in  engaged   but  it's  liable  to  last  as  long as a   Chinese   takeout    meal.       Where   else  can  that   happen   but     being    on  the  arm   of  some  the  sporting  world's  most  eligible  bachelors.

  The  girls  have  certainly  elevated   themselves  to  gain   a   certain  amount    of  notoriety  but  they'd  pale  in  significance  to  that  of  a  male   sports  personality.    The  glare  surrounding  some  of   the  male  sports  personalities     can  be  quite   profound.   Obviously  they  have  their  groupies .  But  the  celebutantes    would  certainly  be  the  envy   of  their  peers  in  this  respect.  The  likes of   Andy  Roddick,  Matt  Leinart,  Reggie  Bush, Vince  Young,    James Blake , Dan  Wheldon,  Helio Castroneves  ,  Dale  Earnhardt  Jr,  Kasey  Kahne, Kyle Busch   would  almost  certainly  put  these  girls  through their paces. 

Althloug  this is   just  a  small  selection   of    male  sports  personalities  ,  if  they're  any   that  you  feel   are  worth  mentioning    as   part  of  my  selection  ,  please  do  so.  Eligible ,  young    and     rich are   basically  what   the  celebutantes  are  looking  for. 

Trophy Wives       Many   male  celebrities  love  to  adorn   themselves  with  a  trophy   wife  as  in  many    respects  it   supposedly  legitamizes   their  arrival  in  the  big  leagues.  And no  where  is  this    more  representative  than  amongst  today's  sports  superstars.   The  likes  of  David  Beckham,  Luis  Figo,  Jason Kidd  are  but  a  few  of  the   celebrated  few  amongst  those  in    this  category.    We    might  even  to  choose  to  include    some   celebrities    from  the  entertainment  world    just  as   a  comparative  measure.

Celebrated   rap artist  and  actor   parades   his  wife   Coco   as   a   good  luck  charm  and  does not  hide  the  fact   that  he  loves  that   she  adorns  his  arm  wherever   he  goes,  as  he  sees  her  as  his  trophy.

   Nothing  says   "trophy wife"  more   than  the  man  himself    who  may  well  invented  the  term   but  didn't.  Donald  Trump  has  made  it   his  goal  to  adorn  himself   with   the  best  of  everything.   The   noted   billionaire   , thrice  married   now  adorns   himself    with  ex  Slovenian  model  Melania  Knauss  his  third wife  and  mother  of  his   fifth   child  Barron-Hilton   Trump.  

If    ever   there  were   a  couple   where  one  can  say   that   the  wife   was   the  epitome  of  being   a   "trophy  wife"     then  Victoria   Beckham    can  be  said   to  be that .   Married   to  celebrated  ex-England  soccer  captain   David  Beckham.  Victoria  otherwise  known  as   'Posh Spice'    has   been  at  Beckham's side  for  the  past  seven years.  Once  the  member of  the  eponymous  all  girl  group  The  Spice Girls.  Victoria   has  sought  to  distance  herself  from the group  after  their  breakup,    devoting   herself   to  her  husband  and  three  children.  Not  content    with  the  lavish wealth  and  luxury  to   which  she  ahs  become  accustomed   to,   she  now  seeks  to  regale us with  her  latest  endeavor.    A  range  of  swimwear  and  accessories   for  women.   And  for those  of  you  who  were  devotees   of  the  group   there's  talk  of  a  comeback   by    the  group   with  a   CD    of  new  material.     Who  says   silence  isn't   golden  ?

   It   doesn't  seem  so  long  ago  that   the  country   was  enthralled  by    the  allegations  that   had  been  cast   against   Kobe  Bryant .  Charged with  the  alleged  rape   of  a  Boulder , Co.,  hotel   employee  Bryant's   world  seemed  to  collapse  infront  of  our very  eyes .      Sports  radio  pundits   and  the  public   alike    made  this   a  water  cooler    topic   for  months.   And   the  late   night  tv  talk  show  hosts     had  enough    ammunition   for their  jokes  of  Kobe's    wrongdoings  to  last  a  while.    In  the  midst     of  this   Vanessa  Bryant   stood  earnestly  by  her  husband's  side  steadfastly  supporting  him  against   the  allegations.  Kobe  himself    was   relentless  in  his  denial  of rape  but   merely   stated   the   sex  that    took  place  between  he  and the  victim  was   completely    consensual.   What  entailed   from  then  on    turned  out  to  be   the  character  assassination   of  the  victim  at  the  expense   of  the  evidence  and  statements   given.   In  the end  there  was  never  a  trial  as  the  victim    felt  that   she  was  unable   to  withstand  the  trauma  of  such  an  event.  Bryant's  character  and  standing  with  the  public  took  a  beating   from  which  he  hasn't  completely recovered.

Endorsements  dried up  almost  overnight   and  what  transpired  afterwards   within  the  Lakers'   organization  erupted  into  an  allout   war.    Shaq  departed    to     the    tropical   climes   of  South Florida   and  the    Zen   Master     Phil  Jackson  was   let  go.    Jackson   has  since  returned    to  the  Lakers  and  Bryant  has  welcomed  him  back  with   open  arms.   Their  relationship     had  always  been  tenuous  at  best  but    it  remains  to  be  seen  whether   or  not  those  fractures  can  be   healed.

Tiger  and   Elin  Woods  are  quite  possibly  the    most  recognized   sports  couple  in  the world.  Woods  coming  off     a  devastating  victory   in  the  PGA  Championship  at  Medinah, Illinois.,  It  was  Woods'  51st  victory  as  a professional  and  coming  so  soon  after  his  victories  at   The  Open  and    Buick  championships   respectively.   Having  lost  his  father  in early  May  it  was  debatable  as  to  whether  or  not  Woods  return  to the game  of  golf.   Earl   his  father   had  not  only  been  his  best   friend   but  also  his  most  trusted  confidant.    With   his   loss     Tiger's  world   seemed   to  be  unfolding    but  at  his  side  remained  Elin   reassuring  him   that  everything   would  be  alright.      And  so  it  has  ,  as  Tiger  was   reinvigorated    and  back  to  his  usual  self  on  the  golf  course  with that  intimidatory  factor   back  on  the  prowl   that  has  left  his  opponents  cowering  in  his  wake.
