Kevin Garnett and The Minnesota Timberwolves

Thursday, March 30, 2006, 03:57 PM EST [nbNNBCN]

So   Garnett     want's   out  of    The   Timberwolves,  but  isn't  saying   so  directly.. He  hints  at   the  matter  ,  but  again  says    that  he'll   stand   by   his  teammates.   I   only   wish  that   they'd  stand  by  him.   Night    after  night,   we  see  this  guy    giving it  his   all, but  to  no  avail.   He's   surrounded   by  a  bunch  of  duds,   and  one  can  only  blame  the     General   Manager  and   ownership.    Kevin  McHale   and   Glen   Taylor   have  done  a  terrible  job   of   putting   together   a  team  that  would   compliment   Garnett's  skills.  Out    of  sheer    frustration   this   player   is  getting  bewildered   with  his  predicament  and   sooner   rather   than  later   will    just  give   up   on  this  team,   and  things   will   begin  to  get  ugly.    Taylor   states  that   he's  not    prepared   to  trade   Garnett   under  any  circumstances.    But   he   better   get   ready  for  a  nasty  battle   between  he  and  Garnett.   This  thing  is  liable  to  take  on  a   life  of  its   own.   The  Timberwolves  are  unlikely    to  get   fair  market   value   in    a  trade    for  him   ,  so  that  may  well     leave  Garnett   in  having  to   play   out  the remainder  of  his   contract  in     an  unacceptable  climate.
