...What about the platinum albums, Game Time, Romeo Land, and Lottery?
No?
Well, I don't either. What I do remember is an 11-year old rapper that captured the hearts of millions of teenage girls parading across MTV throughout the early '00s.
This rapper I speak of is none but Percy Romeo Miller, USC basketball's latest commitment; more notably, Lil' Romeo. That's right, the son of rapper, mogul, and failed baller extraordinaire, Master P. QuoteTime
- "This is the most important thing I've had to do and hopefully it sends a message to kids across the country that education is more important than money."
- "Getting a college scholarship is more important than winning an American Music Award, and I plan to be the best student-athlete I can be at USC.
Romeo just might live up to all the hype as well. The 6-0, 170 lb. point guard from none other than Beverly Hills High School has been ranked among the top-15 point guards in the country.
It's really easy to jump on the kid that had a segment on MTV Cribs in which he showed off his brand new "pimped out" Mercedes C230 at the age of 12 (it gets worse, check out the link below), but it is commendable that he is seeking a higher education... even if it is getting him back into the limelight.
