Tom Brady wins Idaho's "Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest", Kevin Garnett wins the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes (He never thought it could happen to him), Dustin Pedroia wins rookie of the year, Lawrence Maroney won Star Search, Jon Lester won a spelling bee, Ben Affleck wins an Oscar for writing Good Will Hunting.

So please, easy with the "outrage" over Josh Beckett NOT winning the Cy Young award? Seriously, it's okay. CC SABATHIA was outstanding. He threw his team on his back and marched through the season, so here comes the "Josh Beckett Won the World Series". Yes I know. The guy has enough to celebrate, look at the regular season. It was neck and neck. It's perfectly justifiable that CC won the CY YOUNG crown.

Besides, buck up friends, honestly, things in Boston Sports is pretty good these days.

So no worries, besides, Jon Papelbon will probably win Dancing With the Stars next season anyway.
