Yea sports fans Tito Francona's kid ,the genius manager of the Fenway crowd has a no brain er tonite in game#3 against the upstart Rays.

Lefty Lester went 11-1 at Fenway this year,including a May 19 no-hitter against Kansas City.

He has not allowed an earned runin his past 22 2/3 innings to include the game 4 win in the world series as the Bosox swept Colorado to win their second title in 4 years.To cancer survivors he's their ace.

Francona's logic to pitch Lester in game 3 was the idea Lefty is 11-1 at home and if the series goes 7 games the ace would get to pitch the final game.

My point is to have pitched him in game #2 the Rays would have then come to town 0-2 and the party would have been over for Tampa Bay .

He took the no-brainer and easy manager decision problem being he may have given the kid too much rest and time to think. i hope not for this fiery lefthander.

Kevin Youkilis one of a few Boston bats had this to say, "he's pitching unbelievable right  now and he is becoming our ace. we've got to jump on Garza as soon as we can"

I agree and I've named youklilis " The Woodsman" the only semi-colorful character in a very average and mundane line-up. pitching wins world series. we go and watch games on the tube to see stars . we've got one tonite........................

the dodgers are goin' to have to manufacture runs in this hitters ballpark and the hit and run, stolen base and wise use of pitchers will be tanamount to sucess .they must win at least one game in philly .phillies  rotation gets iffy after the top two.

stat wize the west coast and the baseball sensation world-wide super-star MANNYWOOD has had problems hitting in this hitters ballpark. Ramirez is battin' .191 ( 9-47) with three home runs in this hitter friendly ballpark.

if MANNY comes out of his slump in phiily .the fat lady will be singin'.  if not its punch and judy time with TORRE'S  moves....GENERATING THE OUTCOME.

When the Rays traded for Matt Garza and Jason Bartlet it fired up the  AL'S YOUNGEST SQUAD and facilitated a worst to first scenario.

I like their four man rotation, hitting that is timely and a solid defense ,but mostly they gots momentum , youth and a devil's be attitude .

The killer bull pen of the Rays will be the deciding factor plus the days off will give the bosox players more time to eat themselves into oblivion. i've never seen so many young fat athletes on the same team.
