Vikings Childress faces a very good Panther team with big play Steve "rocket" Smith back in action. going 0-3 with aweful play callin' and a QB so bad it hurts to even utter his name . with a Carolina victory Brad Childress will seek the abyss he so rightly deserves.

YEA sports fans a hundred years ago i had the great pleasure and honor to meet my idle Jimmy the Greek at a handicapping' seminar in Bloomington Minnesota.

In any event it was Jimmy the Greek who coined "ON ANY GIVEN SUNDAY " meaning any thing can happen and upsets are the norm. most successful sports betters agree with the dog theory.

But what caught my attention was his insight into the intangibles. he said look deep into the soul and mind of the game. trends and reality colide with the game of inches ....okay enough already here are my intagiable picks for week #2.........

Yea sports fans reality has set in the powers to be made up their minds when they drafted Young and Jackson they would become super stars at the QB position.

I for one felt the duo were imposter's, and wrote those thoughts within Fox Sports blogs, yet they paid them millions with-out any proven success. Mr. Jackson played at Alabama State in front of a couple thousand fans, Vince Young was magnificent at Texas , i cheered him on and touted and bet them in the national championship game.

Coach Brown of Texas in many interviews stated that Vince was the best athlete he ever coached. (i agree)  "we used a limited play book with him , because of his athletic ability" said Coach Brown .  well you read between those lines and if your not a racist or moron you would come to the conclusion Vince ain't to smart or he feels he can do it all by himself......point being .....both are common  characteristics for NFL failure at the QB position.

Tarvaris Jackson was drafted 3 years ago in the second round and annotated by Coach Childress as his guy and will be the Viking starter (.you can not make this shit up) . the guy has little or marginal talent at best , and if you want to play the race card compare this lightweight to his AFRO counterparts . Warren Moon , Mr. cunningham and Dante ( before he got hurt.).  well its obvious he would be the water boy for these guys who were truly outstanding VIKING QB'S.

Rush Limbaugh was fired for stating the media ,certain coaches and owners were trying to hard to make an  African- American a super star QB in the NFL. At the time i thought he was nutzy ,but with the baby sittin' with these two individuals.  i finally see the light..

i'm sick of the hypocrisy in the sports world and society in general .facts are stubborn things and reality is being distorted every way possible.

My sources tell me that Vince Young is on a suicide watch, and i believe that the cops found him late last night and brought him in to Titans HQ'S . Jeff Fisher is mentoring and counseling him as i write this blog.( hopefully for Vince they will not go over film and his two picks and the fact he was booed off the field , with very little media coverage)

Tarvaris Jackson is looking at film to understand his bad mechanical throw that led to the interception that cost the Vikings the game. (  Unitas must be turning in his grave ) Coach Childrees said he will be working on his delivery all week on the field and in the film room seems TJ  throws side-arm when he is pressured (you can not make this shit up)

On the positive side i Bleed Purple and to let this team with all day Peterson at running back with 8 in the box and he still goes over 100 yards. I'm hoping that this Childress is man enough to get rid of TJ for the sake of the loyalty us fans have shown since day one.  We've seen a bevy of great VIKS QB'S. to include Fran Tarkenton and my good friend Tommy Kramer. So ZIGGY THE OWNER don't you dare insult the football knowledge or the good hearts of Minnesota people and all Viking fans world-wide ....CHILDREES DO THE FANS A FAVOR AND SHOVE THE GEEN BAY FILM WERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Vince Young. Vince  you know you can not play at this level you got Norm Chou fired (i think he's doin' pretty good with Rick at UCLA) and your playin' days are over, but remember one thing , you were the best we've ever seen in that championship game. i know your a good man and they paid you a ton *****your goin to be just fine.***** get over this QB thing . God has a path just for you.the media wanted you to be something you were not,  but Mr. Young you are a somebody and very special person.

Mr. Jackson, i do not know you but even an idiot would be thinkin "man i'm lucky to have been picked in the 2nd round from an obscure subdivision school , then the meatball coach gives me the starting job with-out earning it."  Mr. Jackson your a lucky man I'd take the money and run.

Losing pro bowl guard Faneca really hurts.The jury is not out on 2nd year unproven coach Tomlin. the ex Viking coach has them playin' like the Vikqueens instead of the Stillars. the schedule is also brutal . even though i do not rely on schedule in handicapping, this one could hurt team morale,  if you do any lookin' ahead . QB Matt Schaub will play pitch and throw all day to Andre Johnson.Coach Kubiak has a very large coaching edge havin' been the brains at Denver and now in his third year in Houston. I look for Mario Williams to  make Big Ben;s life miserable. i like the cover at +6 1/2 but would not be surprized with a Texan victory.... Texans 24-13
