You misused the word "to" before "long winded". It should be "too". And I will be as long winded as Fox Sports allows me to be on this forum. Too long winded for you? Skip my comments! I am certainly not forcing you to read MY opinion. Tags:

Seattle/OKC Battle

[Seattle SuperSonics]
Business is business! Seattle could have tried harder to work with the Sonics owner if Seattle truly wanted to keep the Sonics. Oklahomans worked hard while the Hornets were here to make it work for them EVEN though we KNEW they almost certainly would go back to N.O. . We fell in love with the Hornets even though at the time they came to us they did not have the best win/loss ratio. Under our extended hands of help and our support - the team began to flourish. It is true that the Hornets made that happen, however I truly believe they were encouraged by our overwhelming support of them and our clean city style. Sure OKC is not a perfect city -I don't know of any perfect cities - however we do offer alot of support and fan base, mild weather, and being centrally located, we also make it closer to get to most other parts of the country where team players may have their main home. So if you feel the need to use foul language and curse - bear in mind that if YOU were not an active part of the solution to try and keep the Sonics in Seattle, then you really have no one to blame but yourself. I was an active part in the Sonics coming to OKC as I voted to pay the sales tax to build and support the arena they need AND I will buy tickets and cheer them on whether they are in first place or last place.
For those who are not personally familiar with OKC here are our Vison, Mission, and Core Values Statements:
Mission Statement:

Providing well managed and maintained infrastructure through proactive and reactive services, excellent stewardship of public assets and a variety of cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities that enhance the quality of life. Advancing a model of professionalism that ensures the delivery of high quality products and services, continuously improves efficiency and removes barriers for future development.
Vision Statement:
Core Values Statement: Public Service is our purpose. It is why we are here. We value dependability and accountability in our relationships.
