Bye-Bye Byron Leftwich
Sunday, September 2, 2007, 11:42 AM EST
[Jacksonville Jaguars]
Well in a critical year for coach Jack Del Rio, he wanted no more of Byron Leftwich. He named David Garrard as his starting quarterback. It is definitely a surprise move, considering Del Rio is on the hot seat for this season. Del Rio better hope Garrard comes through for him, or else he will be out of a job. Dumping Leftwich is really not a good idea, at this point in time. Byron Leftwich is one of those quarterbacks like a Joey Harrington or a Daunte Culpepper. I think there are some teams that could use him, like Detroit, Minnesota, Cleveland, Atlanta, Tampa Bay (they have 4 QB's on there roster), St Louis, Denver, Green Bay (When Favre decides to retire), etc. Leftwich and Del Rio didn't see eye-to-eye on health issues, and the play on the field. How unfortunate for Leftwich, because he may not get another chance for quite some time. Is Jacksonville better off without Leftwich, or with Garrard at quarterback. Besides I don't see the Jaguars in the postseason, they have other issues to deal with! Maybe they should bring back Tim Couch. Oh What! he took steroids, or other performance enhancing drugs. Yep! we got another Barry Bonds on our hands. All those in favor of steroids raise your hands. All oppose get your little plastic cups ready for the golden shower

Phil Garner getting FIRED!!
Friday, August 31, 2007, 11:32 AM EST
[Houston Astros]
Well I am not surprised by Garner getting fired. What I am surprised at is. What took so long, he should have been gone before the all star break. But I really can't blame him in this instance. His GM (who also got fired) pulled some lopsided trades with Colorado, of all teams Colorado! I don't get this guy, they didn't even have a pick in the first 2 rounds of the draft this past June. What could Phil do about it, his hands were tied. His team didn't sign Andy Petitte or Roger Clemens (both gone to the Yankees), so he had to work with a not-so-talented roster. The Astros was just in the World Series, not too long ago. Now they are in the basement (last place) of the NL Central division. Oh, how the mighty have fallen, especially in Houston, Texas. I believe the Astros will be back one day, it just won't be any time soon. See you in the 2012 world series against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Oh, thats right they won't be there, either!

Vick should be BANNED from the NFL
Sunday, August 26, 2007, 11:55 AM EST
[Michael Vick]
We knew all along that Michael Vick was guilty. So why did it take so long for him to confess to this mess. He now says that he did not kill any dogs, but admits to gambling and crossing state lines with the transfer of dogs. It really does not matter what he did, or didn't do. His playing career will have to be on hold, unless he gets banned by the league. I really can't seem to grasped why Vick tried to hold off on the plea, when his so-called homies told on him. But I blame the entire Falcons organization from the owner to teammates (past and present). They should have known about this, it really makes no sense whatsoever. Now the Falcons will suffer this upcoming season, because one man wanted to conduct a dog fighting ring. He isn't the only one, DMX (barry bonds look-alike) is also conducting a dog fighting ring. It will be interesting to see if they go after him for the same crime. Back to Vick, he should be banned like Pete Rose (that fraud of a baseball man). Vick wasn't a good quarterback anyway, so why are so many people defending him. I just don't get it, something doesn't sound right about this deal. He could potentially lose up to 3 seasons due to jail, and a pending suspension. So where are the dirty birds at, or where are the dogs at now. Maybe they should have been a tighter leach arould Vick, oh wait there was!!!

Tim Donaghy is a jerk, and so is David Stern
Wednesday, July 25, 2007, 10:28 AM EST
[NBA Tipoff]
See basketball fans, you had to know about a conspiracy. An NBA Ref betting on games for 2 seasons. Wow! I knew something wasn't right about this during the playoffs. Now the Spurs really should have an asterik next to there 2007 title. Well Phil Jackson should gets his wish 8 years too late on that one. Phoneix Suns fans should be protesting outside David Stern's office, after this latest debactle. But back to my original point, Donaghy is a straight-up foolish human being. I never thought an NBA official would have that much influence over an NBA game. So he needs to be ban from the NBA, and sports all together. This is why we don't have decent role models (thanks Charles Barkley). No morals whatsoever from this official, but i find David Stern calling him an "rouge, isolated criminal." Mr. Stern, how could you not know about this? I say that he is blind as a bat! There ani't no way the commish is going convince me that he had no prior knowledge of this. So the nba is going to burn for this one, just like Pete Rose (aughhhhhh Charlie Hustle) The NBA needs to do something about there game officials, and present a zero-tolerance policy to them on betting, fixing games, point shaving, etc. I for one would like to see Tim and David locked out of the NBA forever. I will never watch another NBA game until they put it back on CBS
