Thank goodness the NBA has returned. Without further delay! Lets have the picks Shall we?

                                                          Eastern Conference

            Atlantic                      Southeast                Central

         Boston                       Orlando                      Cleveland

         Toronto                       Washington               Detroit

    >    Philadelphia           Charlotte                   Milwaukee

          NY Knicks                   Miami                     Chicago

Well as usual the east will be weak, and it should be Detroit that will repersent the EAST

                                              Western Conference

        Southwest                      Northwest                      Pacific

Chad Pennington era over? About time

Tuesday, October 30, 2007, 09:51 AM EST [General]

Well Jets fans you finally got what you wanted, now it is time for Kellen Clemens to show what he got! The Jets were not playing well, and it showed. I am wondering why did it take so long for Eric Mangini to realized that? The Jets have not been the same since Curtis Martin retire. I find this amazing considering the Jets went to the playoffs last season. They are way behind in the standings of the AFC East. They are likely to get a high draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Heck! maybe they should get the Patriots 2008 1st Round pick. No pun intended Jets fan, how bout them Giants 6-2 currently in the New York Bowl. Pennington is under contract for 4 more years, and I think the Jets should trade him in the offseason. I have a list of teams that can used his services.

    Miami Dolphins

    St. Louis Rams

    San Francisco 49ers

    Cleveland Browns

    Atlanta Falcons

    Chicago Bears

    Carolina Panthers

    Kansas City Chiefs

    Bob Hartley

Tuesday, October 23, 2007, 08:53 AM EST [General]

The thrashers should have fired this guy 2 seasons earlier. I do not know why they waited after 6 games. This is a shock considering Hartley took this team to the playoffs last season. I mean this is what you call highway robbery. Don Waddell wasn't fired, but should be the next to go @ season's end. I have a list of coaches that are out there:

    Pat Quinn

    Pat Burns

    Brian Sutter

    Glen Sather

    Barry Melrose

    Kevin Constantine

    Mike Sullivan

    Craig Hartsburg

    Trent Yawney

    Mike Milbury

    Jim Scheonfeld

    Brian Trottier

Come on Thrashers fans, take a look at this list and tell me what you think

    Joe Torre

Tuesday, October 23, 2007, 08:42 AM EST [General]

I cannot believe the Yankees would let him go like that! I am amazed at the fact that a manager that brings the franchise 4 world series titles, is now gone. What are they doing down there. The next guy that comes in, will have a tougher road. There is no way you replace a Joe Torre, with his track record. How are you going to offer a 1-year, 5 million contract with incentives to make the World Series. Steinbrenner should get all the blame on this one. Well it should be an interesting season in 2008.

    Mike Gundy

Thursday, September 27, 2007, 10:24 AM EST [Oklahoma State Cowboys]

While I applaud him for sticking up for his player, I think he could have handle it a different way. For him to say he doesn't read the newspaper. That's not true! Did anybody notice that he said that about 5 times during that famous 4 minute rant. He couldn't stand the fact this columnist was writning about one of his players. He said 3/4ths of it were not true, or don't agree to what she said. So hearing about what a player's mother feeds him after a game is a crime all of a sudden. I have heard this rant all week, and I am astongish by the contents. So Gundy has really made too much of this situation. Now everybody has a field day with this. This is like Dan Hawkins, Jim Mora, Dennis Green, Larry Robinson, Jim Scheonfeld, and list goes on and on. Besides the Big 12 is not that great of a football conference. So what! My point exactly on this is he was sticking up for his players. But he just went too far on this issue. This maybe the only highlight in Mike Gundy tenture as coach of OK State cowboys
