I think it is most likely because he is going to be on Shaq's reality show on ABC. As everyone knows, ABC and E!SPN are owned by Disney so that would hurt them to report on it.

Makes sense since I've know E!SPN to be a joke since the mid 90s.

Stevo, ESPN likes a story that will have legs for the long haul. This might not have that, since it is an old story. But since when do we expect ESPN to actually cover legit sports stories when we have poker, soccer and Lance Armstrong to focus on? What you see it what you get with them.

Not too sure I agree with you either, Steveo, for two reasons; First, after the Duke Lacrosse story was blown up all over and turned out to be pretty thin, I think some media types learned something (finally!). Secondly, I doubt too many are taking this seriously since it happened LAST summer. I could be way off, but I think I'll join the wait and see crowd myself.
