    Tom Watson showed that he wasn't anybody's Huckleberry at the British Open over the week-end..But lets call a spade a spade...The dude choked on the 18th in regulation.  Not jus' barely...but badly.  It's a shame that the Open ended that way, but Watson still deserves Kudos for givin' us a reason to watch sans Tiger...donnit?

    A cupla days ago on ESPN, I watched an interview with Watson and some reporter aksed him 'bout Tiger not bein' there (missed the cut) and he said, "I don't givva damn 'bout Tiger Woods"...Gotta admit...As much a Tiger Woods fan that I am...It was refreshin' to hear an ol' geezer treat the mere mention of Woods in such a cavalier fashion...

    Bolt...Hey guy...

    Hate to say it...but when I saw him putt from off the green 8 ft past the hole..I knew he was done...but I DID expect a better putt than that one..

    Could you imagine the pressure on him when he attempted that putt?

    THAT wuzza miserable effort...Dude jus' simply choked...Almost like he expected to miss it...

    I wanted Tom to win, and I loved his comment about Tiger. It seems the old guys know it is not about who beats Tiger, it is who wins the tournament! Unfortunately, he looked like me putting on the 18th (and that ain't good).

    Cink is a class act and deserving of the title. His path was easier as he was under the radar all week, but that isn't his fault.

    I have to go now and study the symptom of ALS (Lou Gehrig's desease).

    On that subject, I heard Watson say that he broke down in tear walking up the 18th on Saturday when he thought of his old caddy.

    After watchin' Watson's interviews..I'm not real sure I'd like the guy...same with Nicklaus...they both come across as condescending..I hate "condescending"...Do all you LITTLE people UNDERSTAND that?!?!?

    Well, I'm pretty happy that **** Watson lost and the way he lost was even more satisfying. He comes across as a gentleman, but he really is just a selfish guy, only thinking about himself. I remember when his former caddy who died of Lou Gehrigs disease was having symptoms of the disease and Watson merely thought he was drunk. Come on Watson, have you no care for others? Good job to Stewart Cink, a real classy guy.

    Steve-o, don't stir up the kiddies who go to bed angry if Woods doesn't win.
    Plenty out there, too!

    Anyway, I love asking these fair weather fans if they're still wearing their Bulls jackets! Try that on em.
