Brasil replaces spain at the top of the new fifa world rankings.
spain had been number one ,while brasil had been number 5, but lets see how this happened, spain lost only one game , to an incensed usa team that played probably a once in a long while game ,for whom everything went right on that day, on the other hand nothing went right for spain , numerous shots on goal , ball control, attacking actions without end.but no luck.
brasil had three near misses, with egypt, 3-2, with south africa 3-2 and with usa 3-2
all hard fought games against teams that were supposed to be like a walk in the park ,that could ,instead,have easily ended in losses. to go from number 5 to number one under these circumstances is a little suspect, if brasil would have played against spain and showed the difference ,it could have been accepted, as it is we don't know if brasil can beat spain or deserve to unseat spain as the new number one. it could be! but as of yet we haven't seen it. and so this new number one ranking has to be proved before it is to be believed!
