Debt from Super Bowl betting, anyone? Or buying tickets?

Monday, February 4, 2008, 10:17 PM EST [Super Bowl odds]

Someone suggested that "big business and corporations" now "own" the Super Bowl. A figure I heard on CNN or FOX or somewhere was that tickets were going for $8,000 and up from scalpers and others.

On the other hand, did anyone lose a bundle of money betting the Pats would win by over 13 points (or whatever the spread was at the time)? Some sport pundits thought they'd win by 40-10 or something!

Or, did anyone win big money betting on the Giants?

Just wondering if someone "bet the house" (who knows? coulda been one about to be foreclosed on?)
