Another NCAA selection has ended, finally, and I need a nap and I.V. drip from the hype.

The answer to all teams is to win their conference tournaments, period!

St. Mary's and Creighton have to be thinking the fix was in as Arizona(19-13) jumped over them as well as Penn State.

Sure, the upsets for the automatic berth "took their spots," but what the heck was the selection committee thinking?  Oh, Arizona is from a major conference?  Never mind.  This happens yearly.  We're used to it.

Bobby Knight's idea of expanding the field to 128 teams is ludicrous.  Why not let EVERY team play then.  It's just one more game than Bobby proposes yearly.

The talking heads are filling all the four-letter-network airwaves, discussing the disses and annointments.  I'm not watching till...

Play ball.  Thursday can't get here soon enough.  Fill out those brackets for the office pools.

Didjaknow...EIGHT Big XII teams finished .500 (8-8) or better in conference.  That's a first.  EIGHT Big East teams finished .500 or better in 18 games.  For a 16 team conference, the Big East needs to play a few more conference games.

Tomorrow is Selection Monday for the women.  Will you be watching?

3/18 update.  Those of us who watched that debacle play in game featuring Morehead State and Alabama State are dumber for having watched.  Is there a way to retroactively change Morehed State to a #165 seed.  They stink and won the game.  It looked like bad playground ball.
