(response to NGS II elimination)

Apparently, ShooterB wasn't meant for that gold jacket...

And the first thought that comes to mind is...WHEW!!!

This contest was more work than I ever could have imagined.  It's easy to blog.  But it's a little more difficult to write when your work is under a microscope, open to criticism from every single reader.  To the other NGS finalists, each of you handled that extremely well.  Something to be proud of.

I'd like to say thanks to everyone that read my blog, and also those than continually had nice things to say.  When I think about this contest down the road, I won't be remembering the negative aspects...I'll be thinking of those that made this a truly enjoyable experience.

For the record, I'm not going anywhere.

But in the meantime, I've got a little dusting to do.  It seems this NGS contest has taken all of my time and energy of late.  Here are just a few signs that some things have been neglected:
