The Curse of Playing the Buckeyes

Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 04:00 PM EST [General]

I'll start from 1998 and move on to the present. It looks as if this curse happens about 70% of the time from my calculations(yeah right). Is this a percentage you want to risk your favorite team to? The next time you get happy because you are playing Ohio State because you think it will be a sure win just remember this blog.

    1998

#11 West Virginia lost to OSU and went 8-4 overall with a loss in the Insight Bowl. Next season they went 4-7

#21 Missouri lost to OSU and went 8-4 overall with a win in the Insight Bowl against West Virginia(well someone had to win that bowl.) The next season they went 4-7 also.

#8 Texas A&M lost the Sugar Bowl to OSU  and has lost 6 straight bowl games since.

    1999

Miami Hurricanes beat OSU and Went 9-4 with a bowl win. Looks like the curse missed this time.

UCLA lost to OSU and went 4-7 for the season.

    2000

Arizona lost to OSU and went 5-6 for the season.

South Carolina beat OSU in the Outback Bowl and also beat them in the next Outback Bowl. No curse? Wait till 2001.

    2001

UCLA beat OSU and went 7-4 but didn't get a bowl invite.

South Carolina beats OSU again in the Outback Bowl  but next season goes 5-7 and bowless for the next 3 years.

    2002

Texas Tech lost to OSU but went 9-5 with a win in the Tangerine Bowl. Ok, they escaped the curse.

#10 Washington State lost to OSU, went 9-5 but lost in the Rose Bowl.

#1 Miami lost to OSU in the NCG and from there went into mediocrity.

    2003

#17 Washington lost to OSU and ended up 6-6 with no bowl invite. Also the next season they went 1-10 and haven't had a winning season since.

#24 North Carolina State lost to OSU and went 8-4 with a win over Kansas in the Citrus Bowl(might have the wrong bowl here.) The curse misses again at least until 2004.

#10 Kansas State lost to OSU in the Fiesta Bowl and next season went 4-7.

    2004

North Carolina State lost again to OSU but this year end up 5-6.

Oklahoma State lost to OSU in the Alamo Bowl and went 4-7 next season.

    2005

#2 Texas beat OSU and went on to win the NCG. Wow, did the curse screw that one up.

#6 Notre Dame lost to OSU in the Fiesta Bowl, went 10-3 next season but lost again in a bowl game. Then after that they were cursed with the hiring of Charlie Weiss. Okay I threw the Charlie Weiss thing in there to see if you were actually reading this.

    2006

#2 Texas lost to OSU and went 9-3 with a win in their bowl game. Damn it. It looks like Texas might have an antidote for the curse.

#2 Florida beats OSU in the NCG, went 9-4 next season but lost in the Citrus bowl to a slow Big Ten team known as Michigan.

    2007

Washington lost to OSU again and ended up 4-9 for the season and we know how they are now adays.

#2 LSU beat OSU in the NCG, went 8-5 in 2008 with a bowl win but were just 3-5 in conference play.

    2008

#1 USC beat OSU but lost the very next week to Oregon State and were denied a shot at the title with only 1 loss.

#18 Wisconsin lost to OSU end up losing 2 more but end the season 7-6 with a blowout loss to Florida State in their bowl game.

#20 Michigan State lost to OSU but are able to end the season 9-4 but have a very poor showing in their bowl game.

#3 Penn State beats OSU in Ohio but lose the next game to Iowa and end up not looking good in the Rose Bowl, to say the least.

#3 Texas beat OSU in the Fiesta Bowl. Will the curse take hold? Does Texas have enough antidote left to hold off the curse for a third straight time? Only time will tell.

    2009

#3 USC beat OSU but lost the very next week to the Washington Huskies. Gee this seems oddly familiar.

So just remember it's not always a good thing to play the Buckeyes. Hope everyone enjoyed the read. If any of my information is off let me know so I can recheck it. I tried to slap this together as fast as I could. Peace I'm out.

    Another Big Ten Bowl Prediction

Wednesday, December 24, 2008, 09:24 AM EST [Ohio State]

This will be short and to the point.

    Wisconsin @ Florida State

Wisconsin should win this pretty handily. Yeah the Badgers had a rough spot but they always show up for the bowl games. As far as Florida State you never seem to know what team you're going to get.

Wisconsin 27 Florida State 21        Wisconsin 13 Florida State 42

    Missouri @ Northwestern

Yes Northwestern had a nice season this year but to put them up against a team that was in their conference championship game is just wrong. Missouri blows these guys away.

    Missouri 56 Northwestern 13       Missouri 30 Northwestern 23

    Kansas @ Minnesota

What can i say about two teams that barely get into a bowl game other than this one should be a close matchup. This really could go either way depending on which team shows up for Minnesota.

    Kansas 42 Minnesota 28       Kansas 42 Minnesota 21

    South Carolina @ Iowa

Iowa should do just fine against South Carolina. Yes both schools have similar records but only Iowa was in every single game to the end. They come up big in this one.

South Carolina 12 Iowa 31           South Carolina 10 Iowa 31

    Georgia @ Michigan State

Michigan State always plays well in bowl games but always seems to come up short in the end. Expect more of the same this year.

Georgia 27 Michigan State 24        Georgia 24 Michigan State 12

    Penn State @ USC

We all know how well USC plays in the big games. It's just the little ones they don't do well in. This game is a big one.

USC 45 Penn State 17         USC 38 Penn State 24

    Ohio State @ Texas

Well OSU draws the team that could easily being playing in the NCG. It was just left up to the polls and that's the only reason Texas gets left out. Now they want to prove they they should have gone. OSU probably shouldn't be in a bowl this big and I personally hoping they would draw a smaller bowl against a crappier team but that's the way it goes. OSU's fanbase travels so well that they make sure they get to the big ones.

Ohio State 17 Texas 34        Ohio State 21 Texas 24

There it is. Probably going to be another crappy year end bowl season for the Big Ten. I just hope like hell all my predictions are wrong and we win them all. Good Luck to all the Big Ten teams and win big PLEASE!!!!!!

HAWK'S NEST - He has a really good write up so please visit him.

PSPKNINE - His bowl picks are up.

Well, I did better than the Big Ten going 6-1 with my picks.

    Big Ten Predictions Week 13

Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 01:31 PM EST [General]

This is it. It all comes down to this final week in the Big Ten. On to the predictions!

    Indiana @ Purdue

Indiana this is the end of the line for you guys. Don't worry the misery will end shortly. It won't be a good ending though. Look forward to next season and remember last season fondly.

Notable Quote- "We have good game plans. We execute well in the first half, as you can see. We just need to continue working hard and executing in the second half." -- offensive tackle Rodger Saffold defending the Hoosier coaching staff from criticism that Indiana hasn't been adjusting for the second half of games. Yeah, ok whatever NOOB!

Purdue will take this game and end it on a final win for Tiller who doesn't really give a rat's ass about this game. He is just happy to not be going to a bowl game so he can get to his house in Wyoming.

Notable Quote- "There was plenty of opportunity to send up the white flag and they didn't do it. They're a bunch of good kids. They're good people. I think they're staying the course and they're trying. We've worked hard in trying to keep their spirits up, and it's worked for the most part. And I appreciate that." -- coach Joe Tiller. Whatever dude. Get to that stupid house of yours so I don't have to hear about it.

    Indiana 17 Purdue 27

    Michigan @ Ohio State

Michigan your program is in ruins and doesn't seem to be rebuilding. Recruits are bailing left and right and things really don't look good at all. This could be the worst defeat in Michigan history to Ohio State. To top it off you won't even have some of your better playmakeers available. You should just be happy if you score.

Notable Quote- "Everybody's going to judge you on your record, and that's fair. I do think we're making some steps that will eventually show up on game days." -- coach Rich Rodriguez. Duh, when you look back that is all you have to go by is the record dumbass.

Ohio State this is the best chance you will probably ever have to completely blow away Michigan. As an Ohio State fan I hope this one gets ugly, real ugly. I want to see at least 40 points or more on the scoreboard at the end of this one. It won't happen though. Tressel will go back to playing Tressel Ball in this one and probably only win by 7.

Notable Quote- "With an offense like this that is so dangerous, you have to realize they're going to get some yards. As a defense, you just have to make the big plays that cause turnovers. It's kind of like a bend, but don't break mentality." -- linebacker James Laurinaitis, on the Illini offense. Fuck that, I want a defense that suffocates the enemy. None of this bend and don't break bullshit!

    Michigan 13 Ohio State 20

    Illinois @ Northwestern

Illinois was up and down this season and it's really tough to know how they are going to play this weekend. So do I go with what Illinois could have been or should I go with what they really are? Who knows. This is probably one of the tougher picks this week.

Notable Quote- "I think two things: You can't turn the ball over and have a chance to win. You can't give up 300 yards rushing and have a chance to win." -- Illinois coach Ron Zook in the Daily Herald. Wow, a true statement of the obvious!

Northwestern really shocked me last week to be honest. So should I go with them? I really don't know. They could be a good team on Saturday or they could be the team that was beat by Indiana. Hmmm.

Notable Quote- "It has been a little frustrating. It took me long enough to get going, but in the second half the 'o'-line was playing great and the receivers were playing great. It made my job easier." -- Northwestern QB C.J. Bacher, talking about his two-week layoff and his return against Michigan in the Chicago Tribune. Yeah, that's usually how it works!

    Illinois 24 Norwestern 21

    Michigan State @ Penn State

Michigan State this is where the real game begns. You will play tough but just won't have enough to stay with PSU. You guys are both playing for a lot but Penn State is playing for more. That's all this boils down to.

Notable Quote- "The Rose Bowl is our ultimate goal. If we win next week, we move one step closer to getting there, however you want to look at it. Whether it's a year from now, two years from now, three years from now - you can point back and say, 'We had an opportunity here.' Those are the things we have to focus on." -- coach Mark Dantonio. Maybe next year!

Penn State will take this game in stride and be focused wanting to get themselves into the Rose Bowl. Look for them to punish MSU but not quite blow them away either. Welcome to the Rose Bowl PSU!

Notable Quote- "We're not going to be uptight, not going to be serious. The implications are great; we're playing under a lot of pressure, but it's a team that responds well to pressure. We enjoy it, and we have fun under pressure." -- Penn State offensive guard Rich Ohrnberger, on the pressure of playing for a Big Ten championship. If you have fun under pressure, prepare to have a blast in this game!

Michigan State 14 Penn State 20

    Cal Poly @ Wisconsin

    Cal Poly? WTF!

Wisconsin nice scheduling. I'm not even going to bother with this.

    Cal Poly 10 Wisconsin 38

    Iowa @ Minnesota

Iowa has the edge in this one but it will be close. Another good tough win for Iowa who salvages their season by getting themselves into a nice bowl game.

Notable Quote- "Wins are beautiful, no matter how you get them. We've had some tough losses, some close losses, I think four to be exact, and to win a close game, to me it looked pretty good." -- Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz, on whether the victory was an "ugly" win. No such thing as an ugly win.

Minnesota has their dream season end on a slightly sour note but will get themselves into a bwl game. Hopefully they get someone they can handle because I don't think Minnesota is as good as some people think.

    Iowa 35 Minnesota 24

That's it for me. Peace I'm out.

Big Ten Predictions Week 12 (Updated)

Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 12:47 PM EST [Minnesota]

Amazing, we are coming up on week twelve already. It feels like the season just started yesterday. Penn State was a major letdown over the weekend and all we heard was how the Big Ten sucks. No other conference gets beat on as hard as the Big Ten but then again if we weren't great no one would feel the need to constantly bash us. On to the predictions!

    Purdue @ Iowa

Purdue one again gets beatdown and sent packing. I don't think this team has a chance in hell of getting their ship righted. The coach doesn't care about anything but his house in Wyoming. If I have to hear about this house one more damn time by these idiot announcers I'm going to burn that mother fucker down. Anyways Purdue does have a chance to beat Iowa because there is a good possibility that the Hawkeyes will have a hangover after such a big win. This could have been the case but let's be honest. Purdue is just really bad, so it ain' happening.

Notable Quote- "You never want to be home for Christmas." -- Joe Tiller, on his team's failure this season to qualify for a bowl game. Sure you do jackass, if you have a new house being built in Wyoming!

Iowa is coming off of a huge win over Penn State and normally this would be the time you call for a hangover loss. Well, there won't be one. Not becuase Iowa is great but because Purdue is terrible. I am not taking anything away from Iowa either, they are a good team and way better than Purdue so this one should actually be an easy win if they protect the ball. Another thing is they are playing at home and everyone is always tougher at home. Iowa continues to celebrate with another win. They are already bowl eligible but this win puts them well into the bowl talks.

Notable Quote- "I had my eyes shut, I was just listening to the crowd to see if we made it or not." -- defensive tackle Mitch King, on Iowa's game-winning field goal in the game's final seconds. Are you a man or a woman LOL!

Purdue 13 Iowa 27         Actual Score: Purdue 17 Iowa 22

This was a close one and it shows Purdue is not as bad as people think but also that the Hawkeyes are not as good as people think either. I'm really not sure why the score was this close. Iowa should have won this one in a more convincing manner but oh well, right now for Iowa a win is a win.

    Ohio State @ Illinois

Ohio State was blamed for running up the score last week at Northwestern. Well, fuck. The Buckeyes are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they won this one close everyone would continue to say what a shitty team they are. They score more than enough for a lopsided win and everyone says they are assholes for running up the score when the game was over. It's tough being a Bucknut. Ohio State remembers the bullshit missed call last year of the fumble in the endzone and will be looking for blood. Tressel is finally starting to open things up just a bit but it seems more like the players are doing it and not the playcalling. I think this one gets ugly with the Buckeyes wanting revenge for last year.

Notable Quote- "Every time he's out there, he's going to get better. He obviously has good confidence when they're playing man coverage and he breaks out of the pocket. That can be dangerous for us. I think he's coming (along)." -- coach Jim Tressel, on QB Terrelle Pryor. I would say Terrelle Pryor has a great chance of winning the Heisman next year and quite possibly being a 3 time winner. Yeah, I said three time winner.

Illinois looked like absolute garbage last week against a MAC opponent. Juice was standing around like it was no big deal and really didn't look like he gave a crap. Well, this week he better. Also I don't think this year's Illinois team is as good as last year's. Illinois better show up for this one or it's back to the bottom of the Big Ten for them. Zook really needs to work on his recruiting for this not to happen next year.

Notable Quote- "It's difficult when you let opportunity go to waste. Now we have to win both of these games to get to a bowl." -- Illinois quarterback Juice Williams, sizing up upcoming games with Ohio State and Northwestern in the Chicago Tribune. Well, I'm going to say you go 1-1 in the next two so say bye bye to the bowl game.

Ohio State 33 Illinois 23        Actual Score: Ohio State 30 Illinois 20

Well, it was a bitter sweet revenge win for Ohio State. At this point in the season most people would have been talking about the NCG game instead we are wondering if they will finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd,  in the Big Ten. Illinois scored a late touchdown to make the score look good but this one was over at about midway through the 3rd quarter.

    Indiana @ Penn State

Indiana I really wish I had positives to say for you but you have a really pissed off Penn State that is playing at home. I'll just be nice and say you're going to get you drawers pulled down.

Notable Quote- : "I can't tell you how proud I am of some of those kids out there and how beat up they are. Mitchell Evans wasn't going to play the football game, and for him to go out and do what he did is unbelievable?. I know what the score is, but I know what the guys in that locker room have gone through." -- Head coach Bill Lynch on the fact he's impressed by his team's toughness despite the blowout loss to Wisconsin. Really? They're tough? Could have fooled me and the rest of the country.

Penn State lost a close one saturday and I don't think there is a person alive in the world who didn't hear about it. Well, Penn State bounces back against Indiana and whips them good so that they can at least get to the Rose Bowl. I personally was really cheering for Penn State once they had beaten the Buckeyes because I thought it would have been great to have another team from the Big Ten go to the title game. It wasn't to be but they will go on to represent us well in the bowl game. You can be sure of that.

Notable Quote- "We gotta keep our heads up. We can still have a heck of a year. But we can't start moaning about this one. Maybe go home and cry on Sunday, but Monday we've got to come out ready to work." -- Penn State coach Joe Paterno, on his team's first loss of the season. Geez, an 82 year old man talking about crying. I think I am going to cry now too.

Indiana 6 Penn State 52         Actual Score: Indiana 7 Penn State 34

Penn State should have scored way more but I think their hearts have been ripped out. They need to refocus and be excited about having a chance to go to the Rose Bowl. Good chance though that they lose to MSU. I would put it at a 50/50 chance. Indiana it just keeps getting uglier and uglier with no end in sight. Well, okay there is an end, it's called the season is over next week.

    Northwestern @ Michigan

Northwestern was pummeled by Ohio State last week and will lose again this week. Not because they aren't better than Michigan but because every team that has played Ohio State has gone on to lose their next game with twio exceptions. Also Northwestern really reminds me of Minnesota. They are good teams but they aren't great and won't respond well to this loss.

Notable Quote-  "You've got to tackle. I mean, ABCs of football. When we've got people in position there to make a play, you've got to wrap up, run your feet and finish the play." -- Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald trying to explain in the Daily Herald why his Wildcats missed so many tackles that led to so many big Ohio State plays. Yeah, and when you have a team at 3rd and long you need to stop them from getting the first down. Also keep them from scoring over and over and over. That would help too.

Michigan is coming off a good win over Minnesota but I still couldn't tell if Michigan was playing that good or if Minnesota was playing that bad. This week they get Northwestern and they will beat them because they are coming off a huge loss to Ohio State. Michigan will then be on the upswing so when they play ohio State they can then get crushed by the GREAT scarlet and grey team! LOL, I just had to mess with you Michigan fans.

Notable Quote- "You could tell they didn't take us seriously. They weren't expecting us to smack them in the mouth. They questioned our toughness. They must have thought that we just stopped caring about playing." -- DE Brandon Graham, on Minnesota's players' attitudes. I don't take you seriously.

Northwestern 21 Michigan 24          Actual Score: Northwestern 21 Michigan 14

Well Nortwestern bucked the trend of losing after playing OSU by defeating Michigan. Great season for Northwestern and they should end up in a decent bowl game. Michigan do you really think you can beat Ohio State after al the crap showings you guys have had? Yes, it's a rivalry game but with OSU having a chance to share the Big Ten title they will show up for this one. Also it has been something close to 1500 days since Michigan last beat OSU! I lost my counter that had a running tally it was awesome.

    Minnesota @ Wisconsin

Minnesota is coming off a beatdown at the hands of Michigan. That's got to be disheartening to this team. They thought they were good and they went out and lost to a terrible Michigan team. This is what happens when you under estimate your opponents. i know they won't underestimate Wisconsin but they still won't have what it takes to beat them. Minnesota is going to have a rough 2 weeks coming.

Notable Quote- "Obviously, there is no way to put a prettier dress or more positive spin on the ballgame. We just didn't play well. Give Michigan credit. They came in here and did a nice job. They were more physical than we were. We never got anything going offensively." -- Gophers coach Tim Brewster. Why do you want to put on a pretty dress? You some kind of cross dressing weirdo?

Wisconsin obliterated Indiana and are positioning themselves to do the same to Minnesota. This game means a lot to the Badgers as a win this week gives them bowl eligiblity. This is going to be a huge carrot on a stick and will fire these guys up. Look for another huge game by Wisconsin on an unsuspecting Minnesota team.

Notable quote- "We felt during the course of the week, based off what we'd seen on film, we should be able to get in here and run the football." -- Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Really? That's it? Your great quote after a huge win like that. Man, you're boring.

Minnesota 26 Wisconsin 31      Actual Score: Minneota 32 Wisconsin 35

What a fun game to watch. It pretty much went the way that I expected. This gets Wisconsin into a bowl game and Minnesota was already there. Now we as fans of the Big Ten just have to hope Minnesota and Wiscy show up for their bowl games.

Well that's it for week 12 hope everyone enjoyed it. I will be linking the playoff game, Ihawk's blog, and PSPknine's also below. Let's hope my predictions are better this week.

That's it for this week. 4-1 for a total of 61-23. Man, I hope I added right because that is an amazing stat. Hey, what's my batting average for that?

Big Ten Predictions Week 11 (Updated)

Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 10:18 AM EST [wisconsin]

My internet has been acting funny so this will be short and sweet. On to the predictions.

    Wisconsin @ Indiana

Wisconsin is looking pretty good just recently they should do fine against Indiana.

Indiana is not playing that good they will lose.

Wisconsin 34 Indiana 14           Actual Score: Wisconsin 55 Indiana 20

Well I knew this wasn't going to be close but DAMN! Wisconsin rocked the crap out of Indiana. It really baffles me how or why Wisconsin lost so many so fast and are now playing back the way they should be. Maybe some Badger fans can stop by and enlighten the rest of us. As far as Indiana is concerned, it isn't going to get any easier. Although you might have a chance against Purdue.

    Michigan @ Minnesota

Michigan could possibly get the upset here. Nah, they can't.

Minnesota stumbled against Northwestern but they will be ready to beat Michigan. Not that it takes that much to be ready to beat Michigan.

Michigan 17 Minnesota 28                Actual Score: Michigan 29 Minnesota 6

Nice win for Michigan but all this proves is that when Minnesota goes to a bowl game pick against them. Michigan did look good but also Minnesota looked really aweful so it's hard to tell what was going on. Was Michigan that good or was Minnesota just that terrible in this game? The only this this win will do is bring out the bad Michigan fans while the good Michigan fans will do a facepalm and wonder why some fans are so retarded. Minnesota is already guaranteed a bowl game but I really don't see them winning their last two games. So they will probably end the season on a down note.

    Purdue @ Michigan State

Purdue is playing at Michigan State I don't give them much of a chance in this one.

Michigan State will be continuing to prove they have shed their old skin of winning early in the season only to tank later on.

Purdue 12 Michigan State 27           Actual Score: Purdue 7 Michigan State 21

Close to what I expected. A win by MSU and another tough loss by Purdue. Nothing really stood out for me in this game. The main thing was every quarter except the last MSU put the ball in the endzone and if you have a good defense you can expect to win. On the flip side if you allow a team to score in pretty much every quarter you can't expect to win.

    Ohio State @ Northwestern

Ohio State gets back to it's winning ways after a tough loss to Penn State.

Northwestern is finally ranked in the top 25 only to face Ohio State. That's some tough luck.

Ohio State 38 Northwestern 10         Actual Score: Ohio State 45 Northwestern 10

I was very close on the score of this one and had Herron not scored that last touchdown I would have been even closer. Alot of people are upset that OSU ran up the score so at my wrapup I will explain why things like this happen in college football in general. I think a lot of the plays that Tressel was calling towards the end of the game was really just practice. He was calling plays against a good team and wanted to see want worked and what didn't. He wanted to see how far along Pryor had come in the two weeks off. Unfortunatly for Northwestern most of the plays they were practicing against them worked. That's why this game got ugly.

    Illinois @ Western Michigan

Illinois is coming off a big win for them over Iowa and looking to improve their record. They are not a great team but they are good enough to beat Western Michigan.

Western Michigan just won't be able to match up to Illinois.

Illinois 33 Western Michigan 23          Actual Score: Illinois 17 Western Michigan 23

Well, Illinois you can't be considered an elite program if you lose to MAC teams. Sorry that's just the way it is. All the information I got for this game was second hand so this one will be a short wrapup. According to my sources (Mom) Juice was playing as if he didn't really care if they won or lost. He was very loose with the ball and even after making major mistakes acte as if "Oh well, it don't matter what happens." I find this very strange for a Zook coached team and Juice himself. I will have to investigate more. They might have been looking past WMU to the OSU game but we all know that is a mistake. Why is it we have been playing football as a nation now for close to 150 years and yet teams still get their pants pulled down looking past teams?

    Penn State @ Iowa

Penn State is coming off of an emotional win over Ohio State. Since they have had an extra week to digest this there will be no hangover.

Iowa gets to feel the brunt of an excellent Penn State team after it has rested. i wouldn't want to be Iowa this weekend.

Penn State 45 Iowa 23                 Actual Score: Penn State 23 Iowa 24

I got to give a big congrats to Iowa they played hard. One thing I noticed in this game was the coaches were very sloppy with time management and general playcalling. Penn State now gets to feel the sting of the BCS system for losing late. They are now behind the one loss teams that lost to shitier opponents. This is just another reason why the BCS sucks. I only want to point out one fact though, ever team that has played Ohio State, win or lose has lost the next game they played. With only two exceptions, MSU and Minnesota.

Well, that's it short and sweet just like my women. I was going to go vote today but I got sidetracked and ended up buying a lotto ticket for the Mega Millions. Oops. Oh well, I will share the winning numbers with everyone.

    47, 37, 10, 11, 49 Mega Ball 06

Good luck everyone. This number will only work if you play it ten straight times in a row.

I want to take this quick moment to touch on why CFB teams have to run up the scores. It is required by the BCS and the human polls. If you win close you drop. If you win big you move up. If we had a playoff system where the most important thing was to just win your conference to get in the playoffs. You would see a lot less teams running up the scores because it would go back to the old addage of a win is a win. As long as there is a BCS system that is based on a computer and humans close wins will be punished and large wins will be rewarded. Peace I'm out with a 57-22 record.

Don't forget to swing by round 3 in my CFB playoffs.

CFB Playoffs Round 3 The games will be simmed out on Thursday night just before the game.
