I know my Tigers of LSU played a team trying to rebuild and find itself in Washington and looked suspect on D also at times but believe me when say we are better than what we all seen.

Washington was hungry and running on lots of emotion, however much as I suspected LSU wore them down in the end. This team is loaded with talent still and prized and highly recruited freshman Russel Shepherd never touched the field.

Once LSU gets on a roll teams best move out the way or get run over!

p.s. My Saints signed your boy Chase Daniel to there practice squad. Fans here are excited about the move. Small QB's (Brees and Daniel are both 6'0 even)work in a pass happy system that Shaun Payton runs. I think he's the future of the franchise.

Thanks gcoach, good to see you back as well. I was amazed how little depth OU showed, especially considering the consistency Stoops has shown in recruiting. Coaching aside, they should have been able to win anyway against BYU teams of the last two years that were scrambling for credibility. Injuries aside, BYU was in that game anyway and in my opinion won the line of scrimmage. 9 times out of 10 that will win you the game by itself.

Papa - I'm still unsure about the Beavers. They disappointed me last year after showing some promise.

Kelly - It's going to be a long year at Oregon.

brianblack - college football season must truly be here. Someone has Missouri at #5...could only be brianblack. But it is all good, eh! My Sooners have a whole lot of issues right now aside from the obvious. They have no idea how long it will be before Bradford or Gresham will be back. Stoops said one or two weeks before they'll even have a prognosis. That means Landry Jones better step it up...in a hurry. However...and I've said this all along...Gresham is the key player in the Sooner offense this year. Murray and Brown will not get it done alone...especially behind that offensive line. That means they will have to live or die with their defense. Gerald McCoy was literally run into the ground at the end of that game against BYU...and I thought he was outstanding. But when he is bent over...sucking wind...asking for a relief...and Venables NEVER TOOK HIM OFF THE FIELD...you limit his effectiveness. Aside from the O-Line, the injuries, and the fact that OU's WR's probably couldn't hurt a high school team...the coaching is a definate issue. The staff doesn't have faith in ...either...their game plan...or their personel...and it shows in their play calling and their execution. Offensive Coordinator Kevin Wilson should be given as much credit for shutting down OU's offense last week as BYU should. And I thought BYU played a whale of a game. With Tulsa (?) remember when we didn't have to worry about them...and Miami coming up...the Sooners could have 3 losses before they even think about their conference schedule. Stoops is talking a good game right now in light of what is going on in Norman right now. And right now that is about all he can do. Good to see ya, brianblack!

Oklahoma might still be top 10, we shall see.

Perhaps the MWC will have multiple top teams? That would be awesome for me as a BYU fan.

FSU and Miami is a big one today.
