    Worst Umpiring In Major League History

    First and foremost, congratulations to the New York Yankees on winning their 27th World Championship! We can go on about how the Yankees bought the World Series and how they are the evil umpire of Major league sports. Let us not forget that this , to include the playoffs, was by far the worst umpiring crew to have ever umpired the the playoffs and world series. Between the blown plays on the field, some of wish any little league umpire could have made, to the creation of a new strike zone these umpires managed to set back the umpiring profession 100 years. The outcome may not have been affected, but how these playoffs and world series played out was certainly influenced by the many blown calls they made. It is time we consider hiring younger more athletic umpires who are able to react to the plays on the field as well as having a basic understanding of what a stike zone should be. I can tolerate human error, but stupidity and arrogance should never be tolerated in professional sports.

    yankee stadium, home of the outrageously expensive seat and the amazingly cheap home run. A 1.5 billion dollar taxpayer paid T-ball field.

    The WS was fixed for the yankees to win.All baseball cares about is salaries and ratings.That ridiculous celebration by the yankees was one of the most embarrassing displays in the history of sport.

    Hey, I agree with everything here....I would like to add that if the Yankees bought their title then I guess that they bought all the injuries incurred during the series and most of all A-Rod who must have paid extra for all the hits he took from pitching.
    Not only did the Yankees take a hit during the games but the Phillies as well as respects the bad, bad calls the umpires dished out...I would suggest that they not only read the rule books again but also have their eyes checked...I AM SO PROUD OF MY YANKEES EVEN THOUGH I LIVE IN THE SOUTH!!!!!
