THE WAY I SEE THINGS HERE_____________
On a lighter note. Have you heard that NASCAR is dropping their prices for seats at many of the Cup races? Wonder if it has any thing to do with the masses of empty seats now at the races. Looks like a cancer that is continually growing and growing.
It is about time that the NASCAR heads do their share during these hard economic times. Now if they can only get the vendors, hotels, and concessions to do their parts.
Isn't it nice to see a different driver winning every week? No one seems to have the chase tied up yet. If you remember last year, it seemed that one driver ( Kyle Busch) was winning all the races even in the NW series. Sadly he did terrible in the last 10 races.
For some reason the races still seem a bit boring up till the last 50 laps but hey, you can't have your cake and eat it too.
Mark Martin. The ever popular going to retire guy but comes back for another year to race. First win in over 80 races or is it 5 years. This just goes to show you young wipper snapers that age and experience still counts on the tracks. Of course Hendrick power under the hood helps a little bit.
Is it just me or is Dale Jr. loosing it. His driving just seems to fizzle more and more. Pit stop blunders, Poor ( many to be exact) set ups by the crew chief, and his temper. Get a grip Dale Jr. Fans. He is not utilizing the quality equipment that HMS is giving him, or is it Eury Jr.
Next is Dega down in Sweet Home Alabama. That ought to be an exciting race. If not, I am sure the fans in the stands will put on a good show if Gordon wins. Then you always have the "big one" and a few mini big ones to stir up the fans. In order to stop the controversy about the big yellow stripe down on the apron, NASCAR has decided to put up spiked tire racks all along the apron to keep the cars on the track. That should solve that problem.
