Kobe Bryant scored 81 points vs the Raptors.  It is a great accomplishment as only Wilt has scored more in a game. (100) But what people need to remember, 1. The Rest of his team sucks and he has to do it all. 2. The Raptors aren't very good.

Then the Sonics beat the Suns 152-149 with another big scoring game. (Altough it was double OT) I didn't watch it but obvisiouly these two teams have great offenses, and bad defenses.

Now I look at the standings and I see the Pistons with this epic 33-5 record and think...holy crap!  I looked at the teams that beat them, and I see one that may do it in the Finals.  The Dallas Mavericks.  Whether you know this or not, they are tied with the Spurs for that divison with 31-10 records.  I think people are assuming the Pistons and Spurs will win because of the past, but the Mavs should be feared.   

Finally, Why do teams under .500 have playoff spots if the playoffs started now.  The Wizards have the last spot in the EAST with a 18-21 record.  The Hornets and 76ers both have spots and they are .500 flat.

Yeah not as inciteful as my football blogs, but too bad.
