Hey People,

I didn't think I could be more outraged about anything but here comes the new and awesome tape of Erin Andrews in various states of undress. Now I have three sisters and don't know much about Ms. Andrews except that she is a very accomplished young woman who is a sports caster, who has actually been recognized for her journalistic abilities. This recognition also includes being voted the most beautiful female sports caster. Please forgive me if I just got the description of her honor wrong. In any event she's smart, beautiful and very sought after.

Well...... all that doesn't matter anyway according to this taped media of her nude. She's just a collection of body parts someone thought should be exploited. The fact that anyone would record her or any woman who works in a male dominated industry smacks of sexism, un-checked disrespect,  not to mentioned the unmitigated gall it takes to invade her privacy in this way.

We girls know when we're changing our clothes what we do......we whip our clothes off, run to the shower, do our thing, towel off, lotion up. layer down our cologne, slap on our undies, then fresh clothes and we roll. I haven't seen the tape and have no curiosity or desire to view it but I suspect my narrative is close. There was nothing sensual about what she was doing, but that didn't stop the **** from keeping the camera rolling. 

Hey numb skulls our sensuality is deliberate.  Our alluring behavior is channeled to a person not toward a recording device. We women are not just a collection of body parts to be ogled, commented on, measured, and classified. We are people and would appreciate that basic respect.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Ms. Andrews did quite alot to do just that by earning her degree (s), chasing a dream of being a sports correspondent, wading through the muck and mire most women have to do in order to make it in a male dominated industry. I'm sure with the love and support of family and friends she celebrated as she achieved her many goals. Then one day she smiles, has a great guy or hubby, great career, wonderful life; then all of a sudden BAM some ingrate has the nerve to record her undressing.

If I were Ms Andrews I'd have been mortified, mistrustful for a while, quiet and bent on finding out who did this. I wish her and her family peace and good luck in finding the culprit who tried to sum up her career in a series of "nudey" shots taken from what has been described as a peep-hole in a wall from an adjoining room. Geez....what coward would do that?
