fan09, I guess you did not read well my post AC Milan is the most successful European Club and is tied with Boca Juniors from Argentina with the most international titles in the World. They both have 18 each and that includes the Intercontinental Cup that later became the Toyota Cup. In Boca Juniors case they were champions of many Copa Libertadores which means the South American Champion faced the European Champion in the Intercontinental Cup for the World Club Champion. They used have two games decades ago for the Continental Cup one at the site of the South America champion and the other at the site of the European Champion. After AC Milan beat Estudiantes De La Plata from Argentina in Buenos Aires and there was violence in the field during and after the game. FIFA decided years later to have only one game at a neutral site and the Intercontinental Cup moved to Tokyo and was sponsored by Toyota and last edition was played in 1999. In 2000 the Intercontinental cup was eliminated and became the FIFA Club World Cup that now includes the club champions from six continents. Back to AC Milan, I did not say it was the team with most EUROPEAN CLUB CHAMPIONS titles which you are confused with. I am from Sevilla, Spain and my grand father was Italian so I know Real Madrid and AC Milan better than you. Real won 9 UEFA Champions and that was mostly when they had Alfredo Di Stefano, Gento and Puskas while you were not born or in diapers perhaps. I was well and alive back them. Again AC MIlan is the European Club that has won more international titles shared with South American Boca Juniors. Go check Real Madrid international titles and compared them with Milan. AC Milan has UEFA Champions Cups (7), UEFA Cup Winners Cups (2),UEFA Super Cups (5) Inter Continental World CUP (3) and FIFA Club World Cups (1) and then you will see that Milan has won the most international titles with 18. Go look at Real Madrid and add them too and they will come up with 15 international titles. Don't be counting all the BS friendly tournamenst that both teams won as they are not part of UEFA official tournaments. FIFA don't count them. Let me know if you want history of the World Cup next since I know all the World Cup winners and remember some of the games, teams and players from 1958 and up.
Sorry AC Milan is the power house in Europe and the team that has more International Titles. It will take you a century to win that many titles. Real Madrid is 2nd and Liverpool is 3rd. Good luck in getting there.
