Turning on television with the remote allows a chance to think, "do I really want to do this?"  Asking that is how I have learned to not  watch so much TV, spend more time with books and newspapers; and writing here in this community, then on Word as well  as a novelist.  I enjoy this forum of hockey fans and sports fans that are friends combined in this community to make diversity and sports an inspiration to create posts about athletes training to be the best, lost in all the enjoyment is what is turning sports inside out, business.

   This is not saying that sponshorships and quality, safe merchandise for the players of a sports team is bad as a matter of fact it makes the game better when star athletes have equipment that let them play longer and better.  What the stars are being payed is somewhat outrageous, it does not turn sport inside out to reveal the tattered stitching though, what does that is business owners needing an outlet to fuel egos, owners that have no desire to be a steward of the team for the fans, its players and the community that supports it.  First off most owners are great with the fans and bring winnning teams for the fans to enjoy, treat the star athletes with dignity and are returning to the community through charitable acts it is the few owners who could care less about winning and care more about, "see what I have a front and center seat at my stadium to watch my team," if I knew a person like that I would find it hard to accept them.  It is just that why should fans have to accept that from an owner?

   That is why I turn on the computer.  Don't you find it easier to comment on Fox Sports blogs with people than to sit and think about what in the world the Lions are doing wrong? Why did the  Islanders owner fire Neil Smith? It makes this fan more supportive of Detroit Sports yes but all of sports to, there are fans out there that I have argued with here and then built friendships with , there are friends that connected here right away, then there are those that are on the fringes of our community they are like those owners similarly; they are waiting to be accepted but we find it hard to because blogs are not meant for show and tell they are meant for honest expression and discourse about why we think sport is the best form of entertainment on television and to spend money on to watch.  The only time I need the remote control is to watch sport be played I need not understand the rest, of existence. As life is meant to be enjoyed no matter what, and time well spent is reading what friends write about it.  Turning sports inside out is what we do everday that is why we blog about baseball, football, basketball, and hockey.  Enjoy sports live with the business of it.
