Tony Stewart was the opportunist at Watkins Glen, picking up his third win in four races after applying heat to Jeff Gordon. Stewart sits fourth in the points standings, up one spot from last week but still 445 points behind the leader Gordon.

However, Lee Spencer says Smoke's recent run earns him the No. 1 slot in this week's Power Rankings.

With the race at The Glen the last road race of the season, drivers can now gear up for the final ovals before the Chase for the Nextel Cup.
