#2 Michigan Struggles Against #87 Northwestern

Saturday, October 28, 2006, 01:34 PM EST [BCSFootball]

#2 Michigan struggled against #87 Northwestern.  Until 4:05 left in the third Quarter, the score was 10-3 Michigan.  Michigan finally eeked out another touchdown to make scoreboard respectable.  This week's struggle was a repeat of last week's struggle against Iowa which ended 20-6.  Michigan continues to struggle with teams outside the top 25 and has to rely on window dressing scoring in the later half of the game.

Michigan is a good team, but does not earn my vote for #2.

    Michigan Should Not Be #2

Saturday, October 21, 2006, 06:21 PM EST [General]

This week the two teams which propelled Michigan to #2 struggled.  First team, Notre Dame struggled against UCLA.  #10 Notre Dame (Ranked #1 in preseason) on a "hail Mary" Series of plays scored with less than one minute left.  QB Quinn still fails to impress.  Notre Dame has struggled in each game it has played this year.  This team was over hyped in preseason.  Notre Dame is somewhere between #15-20 in reality.

The second team, Michigan, struggled against unranked Iowa.  When Michigan played Notre Dame, Michigan was ranked #11 and Notre Dame was Rank #1.  When Michigan beat NotreDame, Michigan was immediately given the #4 position.  WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED; Michigan should have been moved to #10 for the following weeks poll and Notre Dame dropped to #15.

Michigan is highly over ranked based on beating a Notre Dame that was highly over ranked from preseason polls.

    Michigan needs to be #10.

Clear Bias against West Virginia in BCS

Sunday, October 15, 2006, 09:11 AM EST [General]

The Sports Announcers and TV nets works continue to have a Bias against West Virginia.  As I looked at all the Big Games this weekend, USC and ASU, Florida and Auburn, Michigan and Penn St., and yes West Virginia and Syracuse, it was obvious to me that Ohio State was everyone's pre-ordained national champion.  Ohio State is very good and should be given lots of credit and I have no real complaint with that attention.  My complain is in obvious week to week manipulation of coverage when it comes to #2.  The Sports announces know that if you do not make #2, you do not have a chance.

Point Blank: West Virginia yesterday playing Syracuse went out and decisively beat a very good Syracuse team and put up some incredible stats.  The QB rushed for 247 yards and the RB rushed 168 yards.  AS I LOOKED AT THE REST OF THE GAMES AFTER THIS GAME, those stats were never meantioned.  The time dedicated to the game highlights was about the same time as Rutgers and Navy. he Big East still has 3 teams 6-0 and one team 6-1 which to me indicates that maybe West Virginia does not have an easy schedule.

CLEAR BIAS AGAINST WVU AND THAT's UNACCEPTABLE
