A response to Cavalcade of Whimsy: Why Florida can win

 

Thank you very much for the reference to Florida being treated as a second rate team.  You are right ! People are treating this game as if it will be the blow out of the season.  I don't think Ohio has played a team even close to the likeness of Florida.  #1 because Florida  doen't play "Stylish" football does not mean that they can't ....I hate to reference it....."Bring It!"  As I have stated before, it will be slightly scrappy and really not very text book , but Florda will play hard and FAST.  #2 Yes, the Gators are fast.  #3  Because Leak did not win the Heisman, it doesn't make him an armchair quarterback.  Watch out Nay Sayers  you could be eating your words.  #4 Facts people... the two teams are closely matched,  well except for the field goals.  Let's hope he's practiced centering his CHI. 

For all  the Nay Sayers, who think the National Championship will be a "Blow Out" you are completely WRONG!  If any of you people accually watch college football, and not just your favorite team, you would know that Florida will give OSU a run for the title.  Florida has faught every game to the end, has a very strong defense, and lets face it.... a lot to prove!  This game will be scrappy and not very pretty.  I predict a close game either way and I know I will enjoy it more not because I am a Florida fan, but beacuse I know it will be a rather entertaining game.  See you January 8th football fans!!!

As I read other people's angry comments of the whinning of disgruntled Florida and Michigan fans, I can't help but think of those horrible pharmaceutical commercials.  "BCS standings may cause nausea, anger and whinning"  Well I for one have come down with the whinning.  As long as my team gets screwed, I will keep on whinning.  Sure it doesn't help anything, but it makes me feel better, just like those suckkie pills they try to sell us.  So to all of you people who don't like us crying, maybe you should review what blogging and opinions are.  This is a forum for constructive and creative arguments from fans who love the teams they write about!
