I have decided to post my premier league predictions here every week and as well as that i will give you a star man to help you pick your fantasy league team. And judging by what i have seen, you certainly need the help.
Make sure to post your predictions and lets see who comes out on top.
Sunderland V Liverpool
The fact that Roy Keane is an ex Man United player means he will take double joy if his team could put one over Liverpool. The only problem for him is that he has NO QUALITY PLAYERS. If the Reds want to challenge for the title they have to win these games and they will.
Prediction: 0-2 Star man: Ryan Babel
Arsenal V Man City
Arsenal has not looked very impressive in their opening two games and will face a tough test against ubeaten City. I give Sven credit for the start he has had but lets wait to see where City are come December before we label him a success. Arsenal will win this one, but only just.
Prediction: 1-0 Star Man Bizarrely the error prone Jens Lehmann
Aston Villa V Fulham
Thi should be one of the most exciting fixtures of the season. That was sarcasm in case you didn't know. Villa are a boring team and M O Neil doesn't seem to want to spend Randy Lerners money while Lawrie Sanchez can't stop buying up players. The only problem is they are all second rate. A boring home win.
Prediction: 1-0 Star Man Ashley Young
Bolton V Reading
I wonder who Sammy Lee is talking to through that headset since Big Sam is gone? Whoever it is can't be listening as the Trotters are awful and Mr. Lee could be out of a job pretty soon. Reading are...........well typical Reading, efficient and hard working which will be enough to get a win.
Prediction 0-1 Star Man Shane Long
Chelsea V Portsmouth
Chelsea are supposedly playing a different style this season but i don't see much of a difference. That is not a knock on them but i do get a creak in my neck from watching all those long balls to Drogba. Pompey are a decent side although Nugent looks awful so far. A home banker all the way.
Prediction 3-1 Star Man Florent Malouda
Derby V Birmingham
Neither of these promoted teams have started well and this is already a relegation six pointer. Billy Davies is telling everybody that Derby are here two years ahead of schedule which can be translated as "Don't fire me when we go down", while OL big nose has to be fearing for his job with new investors wanting a better return. I go for a scrappy home win.
Prediction 3-2 Star Man Robert Earnshaw
West Ham V Wigan
Alan Curbishley has supposedly lost the Upton Park dressing room but i don't think he ever even had it. Wigan have started well for the squad they have and i fancy them to shock the hammers and have ol Eggert thinking of a manager change for the second season running.
Prediction 1-2 Star Man Jason Koumas
Everton V Blackburn
Everton and Blackburn are two hard nosed teams that have started the season in good form. Nobody can accuse either manager of turning on the style but it's the results that count and i think the Toffees will win this one. Blackburn will get more yellow cards though...
Prediction 2-1 Star Man Mikael Arteta
Middlesbrough V Newcastle
Not only in Gareth Southgate boring, but he is poving to be a terrible manager. Big Sam has started his Newcastle career well and will pile the early season pressure on Boro with an away win. I'm not betting on 90 minutes from Owen though..
Prediction 1-2 Star Man Geremi
Man United V Tottenham
Fergie can take comfort in the fact that Carlos Tevez knows what it is like to be in a relegation dog fight. Jokes aside United should get back on track with a home win over a Spurs side that will soon have a new manager if Martin Jol can't turn things around. I mean how much money has this guy spent???
Prediction 4-1 Star Man Ryan Giggs
Well there you go folks. Think my predictions are bad? Why not put yours up here and see who does better.
