Last time out i got four right with one perfect so i am now 9/20 for the season. It might not sound very good but i bet it's better than you can do. Here is my pics for this week.

Arsenal V Derby

  Arsenal are on fire and even though Derby got their first win of the season this week, that won't stop the Gunners from carving up the Rams. I go for not many goals but an absolute footballing lesson.

Prediction:   2-0

Liverpool V Birmingham

Just when everybody was ready to hand Liverpool the title they go amd play two stinkers against Pompey and Porto. I don't mind rotating as long as it doesn't involve Stevie G and Torres. Either way the Reds C tean could beat the Brum. Off topic, who picks out Steve Bruce's shirts?

Prediction: 2-0

Fulham V Man City

Fulham spent a lot of money to be still struggling so badly in the league. At least Cookie Coleman had then playing attractive soccer. Sven continues to do well and will fancy his chances at Craven Cottage. I wonder if Stephen Ireland will show up for this one?

Prediction: 0-1

Middlesbrough V Sunderland

If you are trying to convince somebody that the EPL is the best league in the world, it might not be a good idea to show them this game. There will be a lot of effort and work rate but zero skill in a tough derby match up of teams fighting for mid table respectability.

Prediction: 2-2

Reading V Wigan

Another mouth watering match with free flowing footy galore......................yeah right. Wigan are better than people think and Reading aren't as good as last year. I will sit on the fence for this one.

Prediction: 0-0

Aston Villa V Everton

We were told Villa had money to spend this summer but bringing Marlon Harewood in will hardly have had fans rushing to renew their season tickets. The toffees have spent well and Yakubu and AJ will be a potent combo. Having said all that i will go for Villa as they are solid at home.

Prediction: 2-1

Blackburn V Portsmouth

Blackburn are off to a flier and despite what Arsene might say they actually play some decent stuff, that is of course when they can find time in between kicking lumps out of the opposition. Portsmouth are another solid team who with the money they spent should be above Blackburn so i am going for Harry to inflict a first defeat on Sparky this year.

Prediction: 2-3

Bolton V Tottenham

This is a battle between two managers fighting to save their jobs. I think both teams are awful but Spurs have more classso i predict it will be Sammy Lee scrolling the classifieds come Monday morning. I wonder will they take his headset back when they fire him?

Prediction: 1-2

Man Utd V Tottenham

Where is your special one....Where is your special one??   I am sure we will here this chant at OT on Sunday as the Blues play their first game without their gaffer. I don't know much about Avram Grant but i do know the players respected Mourinho and he has a job on his hands to win this dressing room over.

Prediction: 2-0

Newcastle V West Ham

Newcastle started well but slumped to defeat at Derby in a game that helped show their attacking problems. They are a dogged team who will gring out results in the Allardyce way although that won't always please the Geordie fans. West Ham have looked decent of late but i am sure Curbishley will find a way to mess that up.
