This '08 Divisional NL loss to the Dodgers for the Chicago Cubs will be felt for the next 100 years (year 2108), the stars and moon were aligned accordingly and all the hype and momentum were on their side; but they choked and loss it all like they've done numerous times since the last time they won a World Series title (year 1908). Unfortunately this loss-this year won't go away any time soon and Cub fans will have to endure another long tenure of avg. to slightly above average field-play before the Cubs astology is positioned, again, for a serious World Series contender. But don't fear Cub fans of today your great grand-kids will be the recipient of the next Cub championship ticker-tape parade down Addison Street in Chicago (the only issue will be this: Will we still be playing baseball on earth or on the moon inside the new WRIGLEY 'SPACE-STATION' FIELD?)
