Manny Ramirez wasn't in last night's lineup for the Dodgers after getting hit in the hand with a pitch on Tuesday. The situation called for a no-brainer benching by Manny's fantasy owners ... until he hit a grand slam in a sixth-inning pinch-hit appearance. Oops.

Who's off: Red Sox, Orioles, Royals, Rangers, Marlins, Mets, Cubs, Brewers, Reds, Astros, Dodgers, Rockies

First pitch: The Indians and Blue Jays play the first American league game at 12:37 p.m. ET, while the Giants and Braves start things off for the NL at 1:10. Here's the full schedule.

Pitcher to start: Is Ricky Romero coming back to earth? Last night's ugly outing makes you think so. We're down to 56-62.

There aren't a lot of options tonight, but we'll take Atlanta's Kenshin Kawakami (3.8 percent owned) against the

I can't think of a better way for you to spend your Wednesday than by following me around the Internet. At noon ET, I'll be a guest on Rotowire's Fantasy Focus show on BlogTalkRadio, so make sure to listen in. Then, at 2 p.m., I'll be hosting a live chat right here on FOXSports.com - send your questions now!

Who's off: Nobody

First pitch: The Brewers and Pirates get the NL slate started at 12:35, while the O's and Yanks follow up a half-hour later in the AL. Here's the full schedule.

Pitcher to start: Up and down, up and down, up and down. Chad Gaudin was just bad enough to get himself on the negative side of our ledger, but our boy, our mascot, the craftiest lefty young enough to be Jamie Moyer's son - Washington's John Lannan - tossed his very first complete-game shutout.

In case you haven't seen them yet, here are a bunch of photos of yesterday's bee swarm at PETCO Park in San Diego, which delayed the Astros-Padres game for almost an hour. This was clearly God's way of warning the Pads that they need to improve their lineup.

FRIDAY

First pitch: The Yanks and Jays have a 1:05 p.m. ET start, and the NL slate starts with Brewers-Cubs at 2:20. Here's the full schedule.

Pitcher to start: Paul Maholm was yesterday's choice and ... ugh. We're now 45-48 for the season.

Today's pick is Max Scherzer (29.2 percent owned), who throws on the road in Colorado. I thought about taking Chad Gaudin against the Dodgers, but there's too much hype around that game.

SATURDAY

First pitch: Both leagues have a pair of 1:05 starts.

Pitcher to start: Washington's John Lannan
