Does anyone remember the last time a team called a press conference to announce the firing of an assistant general manager? I love that the Mets have turned into such a circus. They remind me of the Yankees of the late 1970s, only they don't fire managers as often and don't have nearly as many interesting personalities. Also, they stink.
