It's Friday, so here's your weekly reminder on where you can get help for your Sunday morning lineup decisions:
- Listen to Fantasy Freaks Mike Harmon, Nate Lundy and Peter Burns on XM 142 or foxsportsradio.com from 10 a.m. ET until noon. You can send them questions via Twitter by following them @FantasyFreaks.
- Chat with Roger Rotter from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and send your questions anytime.
- Send me an e-mail at jhalpin37@gmail.com, or tweet one to me (@jhalpin37).
On to the news:
- Don't be alarmed yet, but Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson missed Thursday's practice with the flu. Keep an eye on this situation if you own L.T., because a couple of days of sapped strength could have an effect on anyone. If he misses practice again today, you should start to worry.
- Redskins RB Clinton Portis missed another practice on Thursday due to his leg injury, but he's still expected to play Monday. Keep in mind that Portis is the NFL's version of the Terminator. He needs to lose at least two limbs to be kept out of the lineup.
- Patriots RB Sammy Morris missed another practice Thursday with a knee injury. No, the Patriots still aren't divulging any hints beyond that. Plan to be without Morris, and get ready to start Laurence Maroney if you own him. Sure, there's always a chance that the Pats can throw us a curveball on this one, but you have to play Maroney if Morris is inactive.
- Sorry I missed this one earlier in the week, but Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on his radio show that RB Tashard Choice "certainly earned and is going to get a big part of the load." To sum up, all three Cowboy backs are expected to play, but Marion Barber has a broken thumb and Felix Jones will probably play with a knee brace. I'm starting Choice in a couple of leagues.
- Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, who's been carrying the dreaded "gametime decision" label this week because of a sprained ankle, might practice today. Wouldn't it be easier if he just stayed out so benching him wouldn't be a difficult decision for fantasy owners?
- Expect WR Michael Crabtree to be on the field for at least half the offensive plays in his 49ers debut this week. If you want to take a chance on him, he's available in almost 40 percent of FOXSports.com leagues. I wouldn't start Crabtree this week, but he's absolutely worth a free-agent claim.
- Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw took some time off Thursday, but he does that every week. No worries.
- Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery missed Thursday's practice due to a hamstring injury that kept him out last week. However, head coach Rex Ryan said Cotchery has "a real shot" to play this week. You don't trust Ryan on this one? Me neither.
- Packers WR Greg Jennings missed practice Thursday due to a sore hip, but he's expected to play this week. A touchdown for the first time since Week 1 would be nice of you, Greg. No pressure.
- Vikings WR Percy Harvin was limited in Thursday's practice due to his shoulder injury, and this story used the phrase, "if Harvin does play." That's not a good phrase, but maybe I worry too much.
- I think I'm reading this correctly: The Browns said the two of their players have been diagnosed with "Influenza A," and that could mean H1N1 (which is a strain of Influenza A). RB Jerome Harrison and WR Chansi Stuckey were two of 10 players that stayed home from practice Thursday, but the Browns aren't saying who the two most-affected players are. Until you know, you should probably bench Harrison and Stuckey.
- If you're in an IDP league, Colts S Bob Sanders appears ready to make his 2009 debut against the Rams. In other safety injury news, Troy Polamalu of the Steelers missed Thursday's practice, and his status for Sunday is uncertain.
- Redskins WR Devin Thomas has moved into the starting lineup, ahead of Malcolm Kelly. How much would I have to pay you to pick up either one of those guys for your fantasy team?
- So, Brian Westbrook wants the ball more for the Eagles, huh? I might have to move up the predicted date for his next injury.
- Still no sign of QB Trent Edwards this week at Bills' practice, so I'll get to see a Jake Delhomme-Ryan Fitzpatrick matchup when I go to the Panthers-Bills game Sunday. Thank you, football gods!
- Don't forget your byes this week. The Ravens, Broncos, Lions, Jaguars, Seahawks and Titans are off.
- Have you read my latest start 'em/sit 'em column on FOXNews.com? If not, what are you waiting for?
Good luck this weekend - see you back here on Monday.
