As per usual, we'll be right on top of both games played today: the Russia-Spain go-round in Innsbruck and then the Greece-Sweden game at Salzburg.
In news from my hometown, Mexican keeper Oswaldo Sanchez was hauled out of the Westin early in the morning following the side's demolition of Peru at Soldier. Apparently, fellow guests had complained about a wild party going on, and Sr Sanchez was not amused by their bleating, nor by the hotel's efforts to put him onto the street. And, then when the cops came, he was arrested for criminal tresspass and resisting arrest. He now faces a judge on July 11 in Cook County, and if he is found guilty, his visa status to play games in the USA with the national team could be revoked.
Welcome to Mexico, Sven!
