Who would have imagined Appalachian State pulling off the biggest upset in college football history. Especially in the BIG HOUSE. We need more like this in college football. We have plenty of parody in the NFL, NBA and MLB. Just ask the Dallas Mavericks! Losing to Sacramento in the first round of the playoffs last season while having the best record in the NBA. THen losing the NBA finals two years ago with a 3-0 lead. How about when those awful Oakland Raiders beat the Steelers in the regular season last year. And how about the Yankees sweeping Boston 3-0 and turning right around and losing 2 out of 3 to the Devil Rays. Go figure!

  This Appalachian State upset should give these lower tier schools the drive and the confidence to go knock off an upper eschelon team. Bob Stoops said in his press conference Tuesday, that the restrictions that the NCAA has put on the number of scholarships per year helps these smaller schools to improve their rosters to win more games.Now there is a difference in parody and what happened in South Bend. That was a complete ASS whoopin there. Notre Dame needs to find them a quarterback who can do something.

  Kudos to Appalachian State for their big upset and giving us something to talk about for the years to come.
