It might just be me, but i think the Mets need to start restructuring there bullpen, they should call back up Joe Smith and Mike Pelfrey, send down Schoenweiss and Mota.

Pelfrey has been horrible as a starter but maybe some time in the bullpen will do him some good. I think its not a stretch to say that Schoenweiss has been a disappointment at Shea and though he has good stats on the road, his mental toughness will be tested too much during the playoff race. Mota stopped doing steroids or HGH, whatever it was, he spent the first couple of months sitting out as a result, now he's clean and unable to do his job effectively. Honestly I think the Mets organization should have booted him when they first were notified that he tested positive for performance enhancers and would be forced to be benched for a portion of the season...he hasn't helped a single bit.

This team needs to shake stuff up and get motivated. This year I feel like most of the guys are just phoning it in, even Reyes looks less inspired than last year. If they don't fix the problem now, The Braves will win the division, the Phillies will win the wild card (or vice versa) and The Mets will watch a lot of TV in October.
