This has to be the coolest picture ever

There were some other shots of McQueen in the XK-SS out there on the internet, but I liked this one the best. This shot shows of the curves of the Jaguar, and I liked the expression on McQueen's face. Cool guy, cool car.

Looks like it was shot as he was leaving the set, on one of the studio lots. Gotta luv it.

Someone stole his hubcaps....

Ha, ha, crunch, I think they are the standard Jaguar racing wheels of that time with knock off hubs. It is hard to tell, though.

When I was a senior in high school (1970) I was the drummer in a large rock and roll (50s stuff) ensemble...we were terrible, but hugely popular in the Richmond area for some reason. At the end of the school year the four seniors in the group were each presented with a hubcap off of a 1955 Chevy which the others had stolen from some poor sod who was foolish enough to park his ride in his driveway. I've still got mine...it proudly serves as the ashtray out on the veranda.

No doubt... but I'dd rather have his '64 Lusso...
