Been working this John Calipari-to-Kentucky story literally since I landed in Boston this morning.
It's getting close to being done, according to multiple sources.
One of the hold-ups is that Calipari is trying to get former Memphis assistant and current UTEP coach Tony Barbee the job as his successor. However, sources have told FOXSports.com it's unlikely to occur.
According to one source, Calipari has a meeting scheduled for 3:30 p.m. CT with boosters to try and see if he can get Barbee the job.
Two names that will likely surface -- if the Calipari-to-Kentucky deal is consummated -- are USC's Tim Floyd and Missouri's Mike Anderson.
