Going, going Gonzo.
According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Seton Hall has fired Bobby Gonzalez.
A news conference is set for 2 p.m. ET.
Truly, it was just a matter of time.
His fiery personality clashed with too many people, his team didn't fulfill expectations this season and there were numerous incidents involving his players.
Herb Pope had one of them last night, which wasn't even open to interpretation.

I'll try and weigh in more on this later today, but I'm in Providence for the day-long news conferences in preparation for the NCAA tournament.
Some early potential candidates I've been told could be in the mix for the opening include Siena's Fran McCaffery, Cornell's Steve Donahue, Iona's Kevin Willard and Kansas assistant Joe Dooley.

Seton Hall should also look at Brian Gregory at Dayton... please... take him... I'll pay for air fare!
