Michael Gilchrist, the nation's top-ranked junior, did not sustain a major knee injury.
A source close to the situation told FOXSports.com that the St. Patrick (N.J.) standout and No. 1 player in the Class of 2011 received the results of an MRI on Friday, and they came back negative.
"He just has a knee strain," the source said.
The 6-foot-7 Gilchrist injured his right knee in a victory over Union (N.J.) on Tuesday night.
