It didn't take long for Greg Paulus to win the starting quarterback job at Syracuse. 

Paulus, who was granted a season of football after playing four years of basketball at Duke, has beaten out sophomore Ryan Nassib for the job.

Orange new head coach Doug Marrone named Paulus the starter earlier today.

Paulus will start on Sept. 5 at home against Minnesota.
