LAS VEGAS – I got to Vegas and still haven't checked into my hotel room yet. I've been bouncing from game to game and am starving. The two tacos on my way from the airport to the first game didn't quite cut it.
The most entertaining sight had to be the coaches lined up to recruit Josh Selby, who recently de-committed from Tennessee.
Kentucky's John Calipari, Memphis' Josh Pastner, UConn's Jim Calhoun, Kansas' Bill Self and Florida's Billy Donovan were all lined up to try and get Selby – one of the elite point guards in the Class of 2010.
The word circulated that William Wesley (aka Worldwide Wes), a close friend of Calipari's, met with Selby’s mother, Maeshon Witherspoon, in Ohio at the LeBron James Skills Academy.
Witherspoon said she had briefly met Wesley at the NBA Players Camp in June and did speak to him in the stands on Ohio – but did not go to lunch with him.
"He didn't have anything to do with the decision," she said.
Selby said he had never even heard of Worldwide Wes.
"I've never met him," Selby said. "I don’t know who he is."
He said the commitment to the Vols was premature and that he had only been to two campuses: Louisville and Tennessee.
Selby and his mother still haven't spoken to Tennessee head coach Bruce Pearl, who is en route to Las Vegas from Israel after coaching the U.S. to a gold medal in the Maccabiah Games.
I also got a chance to check out another one of the elite point guards in the Class of 2010, Joe Jackson.
Jackson is believed to be a heavy Memphis lean since he's a native of the city. However, he rattled off a list that included Kentucky, Tennessee, Kansas, UConn, Texas, Marquette, Indiana and Duke.
He said that Calipari has told him he's his top point guard recruit, although the Wildcats are recruiting Brandon Knight, Selby, Kyrie Irving and Jackson.
"You know whoever commits first is going to be the main guy," Jackson said. "If they want me, they'll wait. Calipari says he wants me real bad and I'm his top guy – and I'm just going on what he tells me."
TMZ RELEASES LEBRON DUNK VIDEO
Well, the video of Jordan Crawford putting one down on LeBron finally came out today. TMZ released it - and honestly, it was no big deal.

Nike, or LeBron, whoever asked for the tapes to be confiscated from a pair of photographers - should be ashamed of themselves.
CALHOUN EXCITED ABOUT MAJOK'S DECISION
Jim Calhoun wasn't sure whether Ater Majok was ever going to play a game in a UConn uniform.
But the Huskies coach made it clear that he thought the talented forward, who wasn't eligible to play last season, should spend at least a year in college instead of going overseas.
"I understood his financial pressure, but I thought he was making a huge mistake," Calhoun said.
Calhoun said he'll put his top three players – a healthy Jerome Dyson (he had 51 points in a summer league game), Stanley Robinson and Kemba Walker – up against just about anyone's trio. Now he’ll have Majok and talented freshman Alex Oriakhi up front.
"Can he be a 10-year NBA player?" Calhoun said of Majok. "No question. Not too many people are going to outwork him."
Who is Majok? A Turk?
