Boston University freshman forward Jake O'Brien returned from a visit to Xavier and will head to St. Joe's on Monday.

``I liked Xavier a lot," said the 6-foot-7 O'Brien, who was the America East Rookie of the Year. ``But I still want to take a look at St. Joe's."

O'Brien said he hasn't ruled out returning to BU and playing for new coach Pat Chambers.

QUINNIPIAC PICKS UP BIG-TIME RECRUIT

Quinnipiac just landed Tevin Baskin.

Baskin, a 6-foot-6 Trinity Catholic (Conn.) standout who at one time had Big East interest, chose Quinnipiac over Manhattan, New Orleans and Binghamton.

``I'm just happy I got this process out of the way and now I can just relax," Baskin told the Stamford Times on Wednesday afternoon following a news conference.
