According to multiple sources, the NCAA has worked with college coaches to
develop the NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Ethics Coalition.
An official announcement is expected later today from the NCAA.
The committee will be led by Michigan coach John Beilein and will also feature
about a dozen or so other college coaches - including spokesmen Kevin Stallings
(Vanderbilt) and Phil Martelli (St. Joe's).
The task will be to try and clear up some of the grey areas in ethical conduct
with coaches in college basketball.
The group has the following members and will likely add a few more:
Johnny Dawkins (Stanford)
Jeff Capel (Oklahoma)
Al Skinner (Boston College)
Brad Stevens (Butler)
Gary Stewart (Cal Davis)
Doug Wojcik (Tulsa)
Dave Odom (former coach at Wake and South Carolina)
Reggie Minton (NABC)
