After being spurned by Mike Anderson, Georgia has re-focused its efforts on Oklahoma's Jeff Capel.
Capel, who led the Sooners to the Elite Eight, has become the Bulldogs top
option. According to sources, Oklahoma reached out to Capel on Tuesday.
Capel, 34, has spent three seasons in Norman and is 69-33. He was also 79-41 at VCU.
The question is whether Capel would make the move due to a big boost in salary. According to one source, Capel could double his salary to about $2 million per year in Athens.
FOXSports.com has also learned that Miami's Frank Haith is next on the list for Georgia AD Damon Evans.
