According to sources close to the situation, Florida transfer Jai Lucas will play at Texas.

Lucas - the son of former NBA player/coach John Lucas - chose the Longhorns over Baylor, Texas A&M and Arkansas.

Lucas got plenty of playing time while in Gainesville, but it was clear that Billy Donovan wanted the ball to be in Nick Calathes' hands for the majority of the time.

In Austin, the missing piece could be a pass-first point guard - since the Longhorns have a terrific incoming freshman class coming in with wings Avery Bradley, Jordan Hamilton and Shawn Williams.
