Paul Hewitt's team has been decimated.
He lost Ra'Sean Dickey for the year due to academics, saw senior guard DeAndre Bell go down with a career-ending injury, has been without Lewis Clinch for the first semester due to academics - and now point guard Maurice "Moe" Miller is out for three weeks with a broken nose.
Miller, who sat out a game in late November against Arkansas-Pine Bluff with a concussion, suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to Illinois-Chicago. He was averaging 7.8 points and 5.7 assists in nearly 30 minutes per game.
The Yellow Jackets are down to six scholarship players - including seldom-used big man Brad Sheehan - but are expected to regain the services of Clinch, maybe in time for tomorrow night's game against Georgia State.
SIMMONS BACK WITH USC
USC wing Marcus Simmons changed his mind and will remain in Los Angeles.
The 6-foot-6 sophomore played eight minutes last night in the Trojans win against Pepperdine.
