Alabama junior big man Richard Hendrix is staying in the draft.
``He put his name in to stay in the draft and that's what he's doing," Hendrix's father, Venard, told FOXSports.com on Monday afternoon. "He's staying in."
The 6-foot-9, 255-pound Hendrix averaged 17.8 points and 10.1 rebounds per game as a junior and also received his degree.
Hendrix is considered a potential late first-round pick.
``He hasn't really worried too much about that," the elder Hendrix said. "He just made the decision and wanted to see the process all the way through."
